This is more of a general question but how will healing work with Marvel and DC 10th and Promotions. If you promote someone to click 4, can you heal them up to full? Or even more for the big promotes. Example being
Quote
BATTLEFIELD PROMOTION: WORLDBREAKER: When Hulk hits one or more opposing characters, after actions resolve, place a Promotion Token on his character card. You may then roll a d6 that can't be rerolled and add 1 for each Promotion Token on his character card; on a result of 8 or higher, replace this character with M10A #013 Worldbreaker a number of clicks from its blue starting line equal to the number of clicks this character is from its starting line. If the d6 roll was a 6 and Hulk has 6 or more Promotion Tokens replace this character on the same click number.
If you get the big promote in the bolded part, and let say you are on click 5, past the blue line. Can you heal back past the blue line since technically there is no starting line or AE line?
"If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh."

Something I just thought of as well. In the power description it doesn't actually say the blue line is the starting line, just to place him a certain amount of clicks from the blue starting line.So could you still heal for that as well? (and in essence, any other promotion click the same way?)

You may then roll a d6 that can't be rerolled and add 1 for each Promotion Token on his character card; on a result of 8 or higher, replace this character with D10A #012 Brainiac a number of clicks from its blue starting line equal to the number of clicks this character is from its starting line. So the promoters have a blue starting line rather than a green?
Some of the characters have multiple starting lines to begin with. Along with that some of the Battlefield Promotions specifically to turn them to those starting lines.
Not all, but some. The ones that don't you would treat as if you were using the full dial.

Some Modern figures just have the usual green starting line, but some have other starting line colors in addition to green. These are generally the larger point figures that can be played a smaller point values. The classic figures tied to them may or may not promote to different starting lines. For example, #19 Magneto can be played at 250 points, or on his blue starting line at 125. But #15 Magneto's Promotion ability reads as follows:
Quote
BATTLEFIELD PROMOTION: MAGNETO: When Magneto hits one or more opposing characters, after actions resolve, place a Promotion Token on his character card. You may then roll a d6 that can't be rerolled and add 1 for each Promotion Token on his character card; [on a result of 8 or higher, you may replace this character with M10A #019 Magneto on the same click number.
Emphasis mine. Even though Magneto has a blue line for his lower point cost, it isn't referenced in his Promotion ability, so his promotion doesn't take it into account.
In the case of #2 Hulk, however:

Depending on your number of tokens and your roll, you could be promoting to Worldbreaker with a blue starting line, or with his green starting line. His yellow line (150 points) doesn't figure into it.
Sorry if that was long, but I hope it clears some things up. Also, I hope I got all of that right. If I messed anything up, I will submit for flogging.
Oh, so some of the promotion traits specifically use a starting line among multiple starting lines, such as the Magneto having a Veteran and an Exp starting line?
I thought it was more along the lines of them having a different beginning starting line altogether like Alter-Egoes or multi-dial figures.
If it's just based on the multiple-starting lines, I'm familiar with those based on previous multi-lined figures like FF Sinestro, etc.

It only uses the Multiple Starting Lines if the Battlefield Promotion specifically states to turn to a Starting line. Otherwise it uses the full dial regardless of what click you are on.

That's what I thought. That's pretty awesome then if you're struggling to promote and take some damage in the process. It would be pretty nice to fully heal (depending on the specific starting line mentioned) the promoted figure.
