Wednesday is coming again. All kinds of fun comics hit the stores like Deadpool #1 (Marvel NOW), Stumptown (V2) #3, Pathfinder #3, Earth 2 #6, Willow Wonderland #1 (Buffy), and Fairest #9.
Before Watchmen: Moloch #1
Manhattan Projects #7
Mars Attacks #5
Avenging Spider-Man #14
Defenders #12
Deadpool #1
X-Force #33
(Maybe) Iron Man #1
Manhattan Projects has been consistently in my top five reads every month. Once again, Hickman is knocking it out of the park and though it took some getting used to for Pitarras art I definitely think it fits the book very well.
My comic guy got stiffed on last month's Defenders by Diamond, so who knows if this issue will show up. If it doesn't, I'm not going to be too disappointed. The book turned out to be a lot less enjoyable than I hoped.
Earth 2 #6
Gi Combat #6
Worlds Finest #6
Kim Harrison Hollows Hc Gn Vol 02 Blood Crime
Warlord Of Mars Dejah Thoris #18
Dc Superhero Chess Fig Coll Mag #18 Bane Black Pawn

Only got through a couple things. I tried Iron Man, but I don't think I'm going to stick with it. Land's art after Salvador's run is just jarring. Pepper just looks wrong... and so does Tony.
E-2... wasn't bad, but pretty cliche. I'm definitely interested to see where things go next though.
Curious what's going to happen with X-factor.
I'll definitely be showing Avenging Spider-man to an 8-year old I know.
And Avengers Academy was appropriately bittersweet. I would really like to see those characters brought back into a book with Gage at the helm. Especially with even more new and established characters thrown into the mix. Unless Hickman's Avengers plays out in a JSA-like way, this was the last book where a bunch of random people felt like a family, and that was good stuff.
And still a few books left to read today.
