While the anime ended earlier this year. The manga kept going and even though I don't read it, I occasionally go on the wiki site for bleach. And I was surprisingly shocked to read that head captain Yamamoto was killed (bifurcated) and he even unleashed bankai! I also read that kenpachi is also downed and that byakuya might be dead! As well as three captains have had their bankai stolen (unknown device)! Even ichigo had his zanpakuto shattered when he arrived to the fight!

Everything is looking grim for the soul society. I don't know any way how they can stop the vandenreich (enemy group)...and being that this is supposedly the final arc for bleach, will it end badly??

It doesn't bother me. I just found it strange that good main characters are dying because in the past they never died or got killed off.. I have seen walking dead btw.

Yeah, it actually bothered me that some of the Captains didn't die during the fight with Aizen.

The Quincy ABSORB reishi and use it to power their attacks so the Quincy know that a zanpakutō's Bankai is the release of the spirit bonded to that Soul Reaper and that spirit is made of reishi when it manifests. So The Quincy absorb the reishi, store it in the medallion, then continue absorbing the reishi until nothing is left of spirit bonded to that particular Soul Reaper. Ichigo is a problem because

so his Bankai has no theoretical limit it's why Ichigo has such hard time controlling his spiritual pressure. It's also why Ichigo can maintain a high spiritual pressure far longer then even captain level Soul Reapers are capable of.

As for how it will end Ichigo will have to face Aizen one last time and kill him by using the full force of his powers

Is ichigo a Quincy because of his mother? I had a hunch based on that.

Why would he fight Aizen? Isn't he still imprisoned?

Yes his mother is a Quincy.

The Vandenreich Juha Bach wanted Aizen to join his army, Aizen said no, and I can totally see Aizen being freed to kill the Quincy in a last ditch effort to save The Soul Society.

Yamamoto prevented the death of Shūhei Hisagi at the hands of Stern Ritter Driscoll Berci it was shortly after that Kenpachi shows up and tells Juha bach, Yamamoto, and Shūhei Hisagi how he bested the Stern Ritters, Jerome Guizbatt,
Loyd Lloyd, and Berenice Gabrielli. Then Kenpachi attacks Vandenreich Juha Bach and Bach seemingly kills Kenpachi with ease.

Kenpachi is in a coma from which he might never awaken and even if he did Kenpach will awaken with potential career ending injuries.

I would've thought byakuya would have been dead since his zanpakuto disentegrated?

Wow Vamroc, You must have been reading the stuff that's newer than SJ Alpha. Alpha has Ichigo just arriving in Soul Society in Goku like fashion.

Juhabach cut Yamamoto in half from shoulder to waist after Juhabach reveals Yamamoto had fought and killed Loyd Royd who impersonated Juhabach so that the real Juhabach could see the full extent of Yamamoto's Bankai. The Quincy need to know the limit of a Bankai before it can be absorbed although the real Juhabach has sufficiant power to steal Yamamoto's Bankai he still needed to know it's full potential.

It looks as though the quick translated stuff is 3 weeks ahead of SJ Alpha.

I hope this story will allow us to get some background story on Ichigo's parents (and maybe Ishida's dad as well). I would love to hear more about Ichigo's dad since he is apparently very strong but we know very little.

So, Ichigo's part Hollow, part Soul Reaper, and part Quincy? Sounds like a god-awful mess, if you ask me. I just thought he was like Kenni, where he just had godlike power but Ichigo didn't have access to all the tools he uses to tone himself down.

I'm going to predict that aizen already sensed that ichigo was part Quincy and he wanted ichigo's power to truly become a transcendent being from the time when he first betrayed soul society
