Was is ever decided if a vehicle using Ram can move a few squares forword then move back to the square it started in as long as it has the movement to do so? Would moving forword then backwords count as changing the orientation?
RAM - Some vehicles have the Ram ability:
Give this character a move action; it may only move along a straight horizontal or vertical path and can't change it's orientation. After actions resolve, make a close combat attack as a free action that targets all opposing characters that were moved through. Each hit character is dealt this character's damage value and deal this character 1 unavoidable damage for each 100 points of characters dealt damage during the movement.

I always figured this meant you can't end the movement with the vehicle facing a different direction, IE:
As much as I wanted to power slide the long side of the car through the enemy as heroclix doest have the in depth movement of actionclix warthog. I'm afraid the vehicle would shrink to one square and move in a line.
When a multi-base character moves, choose any square occupied by the multi-base character to begin the movement. The character moves as if it is a single base character moving from the chosen square and follows all movement rules accordingly.

Nothing of the citrus varity. But that is the general consenses
I'm aware that multi base characters move as a single square, what I'd like to know is if your "Ramming" someone from square A and they're in square D, can you keep moving and go back to A in one move?

Can the Batmobile go forward, ramming the Adapter and then go backwards?

Joe, check Moompix's answer. It's the most current one we have and it says No. As a Straight Path in Clix requires constant movement in only one direction. I don't remember enough Vector math to confirm or deny this "in the real world."
aqhoffman- greatest post possibly ever
jtallday- Jon I wouldn't challenge you if I wasn't sure you are wrong cuz I don't have that kind of energy.
Well, in the real world orientation would mean the way the vehicle is facing, but I did find a thread with an Orange ruling that doesn't matter. It does seem like a change in direction, I just wanted to double check.

Never even noticed that this limited the number of Character's they hit. Can't wait for the next time someone rams my team and I make him pick a Row or Column.
