Here's what I was thinking. Swipe the two biggest with Thanos, pump out a drone with Ultron, hit with Ultron and outwit, use the drones and push to exploit if need be, and finally use Magneto's leadership rolls to hopefully remove tokens from Ultron to keep pumping out drones each turn.. or eventually promote into his bigger/badder self. Tarot is thrown in for flavor and unpredictability, namely probability/poison/perplex/penetrating (four p's, haha).
I was going to cheap it up even more by using capture characters with Thanos, but figured this would be less irritating. What do you guys think?
I guess I don't really know what you're trying to do. It's a fairly sound strategy but I think Magneto is way expensive for what he brings to the table.
I feel like Chanos is annoying for opponents because it breaks down their team strategy. So it will most likely be annoying. On the other hand your not going for the jugular when you bring them over. I don't know that that makes it less annoying though, just less vicious.
Wish I could help more.

jtallday- Jon I wouldn't challenge you if I wasn't sure you are wrong cuz I don't have that kind of energy.
I was going to field Thanos, Mar-Vell, and the two capture guards.. but I think they'd end up quitting right off the bat. As it is, I'm pretty sure they'll be groaning about playing the chase Thanos.. so that's why I went with less 'badassery' dudes to back him up.
I guess either way, they won't be happy. I had exactly 113 pts left, so that's why I went with Magneto.. plus the chance of removing tokens from Ultron to get more drones and promoting, figured it wasn't wasted points entirely.
EDIT: What I'm getting at here is, other than adding capture to the force, does anyone else see something else that would work better with Thanos. Adding the FF Guardian might be a misstep, since he'd lose that bonus to his dial the second they KO Tarot or one of the easily disposed of drones.

Yeah, I mean my first priority when bringing over the two highest point figures tends to be making sure I hit, and that the damage sticks. Which means EW/PB and Prob/Perplex. I like the 70pt Wolverine, and 50pt Scarlet Witch a lot for this. If I had 5 SWitches (or you did) I would say go with that. Most likely you don't, I know I don't. But I would try to fit in a SWitch, Wolverine (or 2) maybe Elsa Bloodstone if you expect high-point figures and or Giants/Colossals. Punisher (PB) is good. Gamora isn't bad. There might be some others I'm forgetting, but I'm usually aiming for having at least two shots at rolling a 7 or less to do 3 or more penetrating.
Hope that helps.

I would agree, I don't know if Magneto is your best choice here. Even if you just want to stick with someone with leadership, you could pick a cheap piece, and then throw in a cheap secondary attacker or perplexer or something as well.
