It sure seems like they ought to have done something for that. Maybe Marvel could have done The Twelve: Twelve-Shot, a one-shot with each member of the Twelve getting a two-page mini-story by different writers and artists.

Most of the Marvel stuff there is on the bubble for me. Iron Man is entertaining enough and Winter Soldier is either ending or losing Brubaker (I forget which), so I'm not sure I'll stick with it.

Well, judging by the most recent spoiler, regret is quite possibly the most positive emotion the book could elicit from you.

If you are an Avengers Academy fan, you are not going to like issue #1.

See, I think he looks like pretty much any bland, generic anime villain you've ever seen. Really not liking his new design.

Judging by the reactions I've heard, as generic as they've been, your post makes me believe that the character I expected will die. If I'm right, then unless the writing is stellar, I may drop the title off the bat. I hate established characters dying for cheap shock value. Guess I'll know tomorrow whether or not Hopeless will live up to his name.

This is one of those on-panel deaths you can't waffle on. Character is DED dead.

Unless it was a Skrull/robot/clone/time displaced alternate reality version of the character. Retcons!!!

I'll get my books late tonight, so I eagerly anticipate seeing just how outraged I should be.
