Hello one and all, welcome to another flyingicarus & Gargantua production.
In honor of the latest Batman sets we're playing three or four 1000 point game using (mostly) figures from the new sets. Each game will have 1000 points in characters, 7 of the 8 on board will be from the new sets.
Going a bit differently with this we're playing for points in these games. Each koed figure is worth 1/3 of its cost. For example koing the Caped Crusader from this set at 139 points nets you 46 points rounded up.
There will be two options for using these points. First, to be done at the beginning of any turn we can 'unlock' a character. This figure does not count towards our total. We are discounting this unlockable figures who will be older pieces but Batman related. In game one the unlocked opportunities are three times one at 25, 50 and 75 points. As an example one might offer Hypertimes' Dr. Harleen Quinzel for 25 points (this is all opponent driven). During each game you have to unlock all characters or continue to unlock them in the next game. Game two starts the unlocked values at 50, 75 and 100 and so on....
The other way to use points is at the beginning of each game. At that time you choose your 1000 points in characters for that game. You may also use the points earned to 'upgrade' a character. If you begin game one with Batman 1R at 100 points, you can trade him in for the 200 point version by keeping the original in your draft and using 100 upgrade points. You can also use these points for feats, utility belts, relics/resources and vehicles.
I'm starting with
Commissioner Gordon (SOG) 56
Renee Montoya 40
Harvey Bullock 32
GCPD Officer (SOG1A) 30
GCPD (SOG4B) 37
GCPD (GOG5A) 51
Bruce Wayne (BM37B) 95
OMAC 96
Red Robin (BM206) 105
Batman (GCSG) 115
657
Then, I had 58 XPs from last game.
With that, I'm equipping my team with the Robincycle, a COntinency Plan on Gordon and the Suit of Sorrows.
"Thank you, Renee. So, it's our worst nightmare. Batman's gone rogue," Commisioner Gordon informed his staff.
"That's not true."
A half dozen firearms were out of their holsters. "At ease," Gordon ordered his men. "Come on out, lad."
Red Robin emerged from the shadows. "There's another, posing as Batman."
"And I suppose you're not just here trying to get us to stop to protect yer big buddy?" Harvey Bullock asked skeptically.
"Actually he's right," Bruce Wayne stepped out with a larger figure coming in behind him.
"With all due respect, Wayne, the fact that you got more money than God doesn't make you a cop," Bullock added. "What're you even doing here."
"I brought you something. I thought you could use it. He's called OMAC."
"Bruce," Gordon said. "I respect what you've done for this city, but Bullock is right. This is police business. And it's dangerous out here. You really shouldn't be here."
"Take the help he's offering, Jim." Batman said from a nearby roof. "You'll need it."
I'm using a Military Tank, two Bat Signals and endurance. Now I just have to read up on the ram ability.

"Well Mr. Wayne, it seems we have your full attention," the Joker begins.
"Mr. J! Incoming!" Harley Quinn points to the other end of the dock.
"They're onto us!" the pair of False Facers state.
"I knew you wouldn't be able to pull this off," Composite Superman says, "Why I let you talk me into working alongside this sorry bunch....".
Chest out, the Joker replies, "They have nothing to be sorry for. Well, maybe those False Facers for that ridiculous name and costume but then again, I do like ridiculous...".
"So much for your brilliant plan, Joker, " Poison Ivy says, "We have Wayne right in our vines, err, clutches, and now he has reinforcements."
"Dick, you reading this," Bruce Wayne says quietly to his collar device.
"I do, Bruce. I think when we set the bait for this caper we bit off a lot more than we thought," Nightwing says in hiding, "Maybe we can twist the Joker and gang to work with us on the bigger capture".
First a couple thing I have to declare - Batman gets to choose a power to use, and while something like HSS could be useful, I really can't do it. I will give him Perma-PC though. He's thought everything out. Suit of Sorrows is in N17

A couple reminders: When playing a vehicle in Autopilot, any attack action also deals 1 damage to the Vehicle.
Also for Ram, if you can move in a straight line, not changing orientation at all, you get an attack on every enemy figure in the line. But two things to remember. You still have to be able to end you move in a legal position. You can't end with your tank in a square occupied by one of my characters, even if you are a tank. You have to go all the way through them. Also the ramming vehicle takes damage for each 100 points worth of figures hit. Over and above the damage just for attacking.
And the Bat Signals are Objects and need to be placed in a square, not given to a character (and in place of normal ojects that you might place). Any character in that square may take an action to use the ability of it. They may also just be used as a regualr Heavy Object.
Do you think the two bat signals I've drafted have to count as my objects? I'm thinking not since I paid for them but let me know if you think differently as knowing what's a bat signal and what's a standard object might make a difference.
I suppose since they're extras you can have your three regular objects, plus the Bat Signals. But they should still be placed as objects and may still used as Heavy Objects by characters with Super Strength.
Edit: In addition, I could theoretically use the Signals with my own characters if I get them adjacent to them.
Hmmmm, I'm not sure that your characters should get to use Bat Signal. Even though they're only 2 points each I did pay for them, right? I doubt it will matter much though so I guess I'm cool.
By the way, you get an extra HO.
Nightwing to J5.
False B to F1.
Bruce tks Ivy to J10.
Ivy tries to mc Batman. Needs 7, rolls 8. He's mced. He ups his damage to 3 and rs to D19 attacking the Detective. Needs 6, rolls 7. 3 to him.
Joker takes an action to use the Bat Signal in G1 calling Ivy back to G2.
Bruce boosts Ivy's pc by 1.
