Ten extra points to add the MK's ata fir stealth and this version of Blade will be a Nightmare for powerhouses with damage reducers. On top of that he's a wild card to make him extra annoying.

just what i wanted out of the main set one, wildcard! any figure that can take 5 and deal 6/7 dmg back is great in my book. two version of blade that you can't go wrong with. i see him teaming with deathstroke VERY soon!

Both Blade figures in this set are really interesting and useful pieces. I think I like this one the best because it feels a bit more like Blade to me for some reason. I always think of Blade as starting from a distance, and if you get in close with him to stop him working you over he will probably hurt you even more. Even if he gets smacked for 4, you end up on some serious painful looking clicks. In Golden Age throw the oh so thematic Vampirism on him to get Steal Energy on those last three clicks.

Both versions of Blade are great, but this one is more well-rounded.

I love this Blade and the one from the main set, I just wish the stake in his sculpt was a pistol or an SMG or something. That would make the range value and PPB make sense lol

People must be hard up for Blade Clix to get hyped about this one over the main set one. Sure, it's a good dial, but look at those first few clicks. What about those say "yup, this is blade, he's got aim good enough while shooting a gun or throwing a stake to hurt Thanos."

It's a game mechanic that has an established precident for characters with Armor piercing ammo. The sets are made to fight within themself, and I don't see a Thanos is this set. That's why we have sealed events, floor events, and modern age. Just because there is going to be an instance of blade damaging Thanos (which could happen if the writer of a story decided he wanted it to happen) doesn't mean the character is inaccurate. Stop being a troll.

Yeah you're right, wanting a little character accuracy in this game is being a troll. My bad. And the comment "it could happen if a writer wanted it to" I'm sure would go over well at a marvel writer's meeting. Dang it, there I go, trolling again... can I at least make a comment about the sculpt's haircut? No.... that's trolling too? Or maybe say now at least I have a Grace Jones dial and sculpt? Oh, what about critiquing someone's opinion on a character being inaccurate and using the excuse that if writers wanted it to happen it would, even though I know this character hasn't and will not ever be written that way? FlavorableDeez I get what you are saying, but the P/B is there so he can hurt Dracula, that he can hurt Thanos is only a side effect of that. Kinda sad for accuracy but not for playability. That said I like this fig and plan on using it at least once or twice.

as much as i like blade and p/pb. i don't think they should go together. they hand out p/pb way too easily now. on the other hand, this game would be way too wordy if they tried to make everything totally comic accurate. i am personally tired of waiting for accuracy from wk and am just happy to have two different and very playable blades.

I totally get the point about pb being a bit much for Blade. Considering the set, it probably would've been more accurate to give him an attack special in pb's place that says that he deals penetrating damage from ranged attacks against figures with monster or mystical keyword. But honestly, there's modern Punishers with pb too, so it doesn't really bother me.

Deadly in close combat or from range and Spider-Man TA, this is a great dial. I have never read anything with Blade in it but he has come a long way in Heroclix.

Can I ask are you a batman fan? There are many many clix made that don't deserve PB for every situation. Like the other poster said they make clix with their own set in mind for the most part. Batman should never be PW or PB darkseid by your logic either but but he can in this game. The writers have never really let batman "Penetrate" Darkseid's defense but he sure as hell wins in the bluff you "outwit" department. I'm a big batman fan too but should he be able to PB and PW. Heck no. Batman does not kill. If any thing batman should have a really powerful OW/Incap. Power.

Also in comics it most certainly does boil down to how the writers feel like letting character A defeat character B.

To me this looks more like the movie Blade then comic wich the main set one fills more.
