What take's up more room? HeroClix or Video Games?
So my fellow Clixer/Video Games lover. What take up more space in your home? My wife want me to either move all my HeroClix or Video Games out to the garage because the house is becoming too cluster. I have to make my decision by this weekend.
As someone who has played clix since unleashed and has collected a lot of DC, clix takes this hands down. I even have a ps triple, a ds, a psp, and all my old games. Your situation may vary.
Decided to move all my HeroClix out to the garage. I rather have my Video Games and Comic Books in the house. Trying to get rid of at least half of my HeroClix.
Clix takes up more room for me, but I just love to have stuff on display. My Iron Man variants are wayyyyy too cool to just box up. Not to mention giant/colossal figs.
OR you could go with option 3. Tell the woman shes a woman and as such has no say ;P
You could do what all men want to do. Turn your garage into a man cave, boom, insta win. Also, totally enviuse of your collection, even if i prolly wouldnt play half of those ( RPG kinda guy, and them classics, sonic, mario, etc) it would be wonderfull to say I still have it. How long has that taken you to amass?
HeroClix, but just barely. With nine consoles and two handhelds, each with at least a dozen games, I know all about having to make concessions for space. I haven't been given the ultimatum, yet, though, and so my additional collections of HeroClix and Mage Knight (combined total of nearly 7,000 pieces), various action figures (probably over 500), and HotWheels (I've lost count) are mostly all crammed together in one spare bedroom. It's not pretty.
I won't look at your dial-on-card, I don't look at my own, and you don't need to see my DOC, ever. Otherwise, we're not playing HeroClix.
I tip my hat to you, sir. For me, it's clix (HeroClix, Mage Knight, and HorrorClix) by a hair, although that gaming deficiency's mostly since I relied on my parents to fund my gaming back in the days of the NES, and on my meager student's income to cover my SNES, N64, and PSOne-era purchases. Plus, I've neatly stored my older consoles and their games in my closets, rather than having them out in a very cool display, as you do. Over the last two console generations, as part of the working world, the problem's been more of finding time to play the darn things than money to buy 'em.
As a PC gamer 60% of my games are on steam and any others I've compressed into one cd holder. Also have an old N64 just for playing Goldeneye with friends, though.
