You know, I've been wanting a Spidey with TK for a while, because it occurs to me that it's a pretty accurate power for him considering how often he throws crap around with those weblines of his. So it's cool to see him finally get it for once.
that damage, simply ruins what could have been a good Spider-man dial
Why does it ruin his dial when he has Super Strength and Close Combat Expert to modify his damage for the majority of his dial? To top it off, he's got Perplex to help that mix too. Spider-Man isn't necessarily known for his sheer damage output anyway. He uses his cunning and wit to defeat his enemies, so I think this is a pretty great representation of him. He is, in my eyes, a perfect Spider-Man.
+1 damage across the board, or at least getting rid of the 1s and giving him an upfront 3, and it'd be a perfect Spidey. Without that little bit, though, it goes from great to really disappointing... Even if it isn't entirely useless.
A 3 damage, or a clix of outwit on clix #1 would have made this an incredible dial. As it stands it’s an interesting approach and I think it will surprise some folks.
Gladly, he don't have 3 dmg (3dmg + 2 or 3 from carrying an object and outwit your defense will be too much for spidey) but at least give him 2dmg all over his dial. The GF Spidey seems much useful to me.
I understand why Spidey fans are disappointed in this dial, but to honest, I kinda love it. To me, this is the most accurate Spider-Man in Heroclix. I don't think of him as someone who deals a natural 3 damage; after all, he hurt his fist when he punched Superman, and he only beat the Juggernaut by guiding him into wet cement. Incapacitate, Super Strength and Perplex are the right powers to demonstrate how Spidey can hurt the really tough guys. I like his other powers, too - the Spider Tracer is cool, and the nerfed HSS is a nice touch. Plus, his attack and defense numbers are very good. I know this isn't the Spidey who beat up Firelord, and he can't compare to inaccurate figs like 200-point Batman. But I still think it's an imaginative and accurate representation. Worst thing I can say is that maybe he's a touch overcosted.

He deserves a three at least. Everyone in Gotham got a three damage some with exploit and if Spidey wanted to he could pick Batman up and rip him in half Sentry style.
Maybe start off with 3 damage for 1 or 2 clicks, or have EW. Why the 0 range too? Just because he does not damage foes with his webs I guess. Nerf'd HSS is ok, but I don't like the low speed values after the penalty. Maybe a -2 instead. is it tough to trait SS with him. When I think of Spidey, I think of L/C (or IM Elevated, blocking, and hindering) and SS. That is just me though. Not a fan of this guy for the points. Love the tracers though.
