Energy Explosion and Shield/Deflection

Is the bonus of Shield/Deflection is taken into account when rolling for Energy Explosion's Splash damage (figs who are not the direct target of the attack) ???

Yes...ES/D "increases DV by 2 on all ranged attacks that target or can effect the character"-Paraphrased from the PAC...

But remember that you don't roll separately for the splash damage. One attack roll is made and used for the direct and the splash damage both.
