Me and a friend are going to be playing a 600 point game for the first time since before Xmas. I don't normally play games this big so am a litle nervous. I know he wants to play sinister syndicate all from the new spidey set. So trying to keep somewhat with theme I'm going to play new avengers coz spiderman is on the line up.
Here's what I have so far:-

Dr. Strange 196
Wolverine 100+ auto regen 12
Spiderman 50
Luke Cage 98 + T-bolts 8#
Iron fist 70
Spider-woman 55
## # # # # # # # # # # # ///589

This leaves me with 11 points, I don't have any rescourses or any thing like that. The way I see it, is that I have a few options.

1) I could put Lunge on spider-man and iron fist
or
2) I could drop Thunderbolts ATA and give the whole team Avengers response unit ATA giving the bulk of my force a atk bonus.

The problems as I see them with these options

1) What do I T-bolt to ? I have mystics, X-men, Avengers and Defenders to choose from for my wildcards. (is it possible to copy shield/hydra from spider-woman?)
and
2) if I go with the avengers response unit ATA I'll have to further bunch my force together. Making them a prime target for shocker (the one I'm expecting him to play).

Finally what are your thoughts on the team in general ?

I wouldn't drop Thunderbolts. Lunge on those too would work well. Maybe add an Alias.

You can not copy the Hydra/Shield as she doesn't Possess it.

What you use for Thunderbolts is going to depend on what you play against. If you were looking at a Batman/Stealth team I would probably choose Avenger's Initiative. Sinister Syndicate might not be a bad choice, letting you share your higher attack values.

It's not a bad team. Avenger's is a pretty strong keyword with a lot of good pieces.

Is it possible to Thunderbolt to Ultimate X-men in golden age?
Thinking of using that to boost attack ......

Figured that's how it worked, in regards to Hydra/ SHIELD TA.

Think I'm gonna go keep with the Thunderbolts and add lunge on spidey and iron fist.

I have never actually played it though. I started not long after they cut from the TA's.
I remeber you could pick a character or a team. I was wondering if there have been any changes to the TA since keywords were introduce.

Also do I pick for my team as a whole when picking individual character(s) or can choose individual characters for each of my characters?

For Ultimate X-Men each figure using it can choose an opposing figure or TA, and they get a +1 when attacking that character, or a character with that TA.
