2 of these plots are real. One is fake. Which is the fake?
1) Midway City is terrorized by the Matter Master, who has a wand that allows him to control all matter. He uses creatures made from meteors to commit a robbery, then cause helicopter blades to bind Hawkman and Hawkgirl when the two heroes try to interfere.
Later, he uses flowers to steal rare Egyptian papyri from the museum. Hawkman uses his enhanced sense of smell to track Matter Master to his lair. He and Hawkgirl are trapped in an air-tight vacuum chamber, but Hawkman smashes Matter Master's breathing apparatus, cutting off the villain's air supply as well. Matter Master is forced to surrender.
2) Superman is chasing a space criminal and passes through a zone of Red Kryptonite radiation. He discovers by accident that this has given him a weakness similar to Green Lantern--he can take no action nor use his powers against anything yellow.
This seems harmless at first, since the effect only lasts a short time. But a villain named The Yellow Talon--dressed in a yellow costume--goes on a crime spree, using a paralysis beam to keep the police helpless.
Superman is stumped at first and the citizens of Metropolis think his inaction means the Man of Steel has turned "yellow." But Superman gets Jimmy Olson to sneak up on the Yellow Talon and spray him with red paint. Superman then easily captures him.
3) The Gotham City-based villain Signalman is in prison and meets a Green Arrow villain named Bulls-Eye. Signalman is intrigued with the idea of using trick arrows for villainy. When he escapes, he becomes the Blue Bowman.
His first encounter with Batman and Robin in his new identity ends with the Dynamic Duo captured and trapped inside giant candles. They melt their way out and manage to track down the Blue Bowman a second time.
This time, Batman is ready with an arsenal of trick batarangs, countering the arrows and allowing the heroes to capture the villain.
