Unit Comments: Please stop the comments on IG and Bat Belt. We get it.
Just a polite request, unless it is some very odd interaction, if we could as a group refrain from posting on the unit comment section how "X would be so good with IG" or o man i can't wait to put "bat belt" on this guy!
Those items are very good. They may even be too good. So when you put them on a figure that is usable, it is good. We are all aware.
The reason i request we refrain from this talk is...it is boring and no specific to each unit. It makes the comment section largely just mundain comments about how good the IG and belt are.
Thanks! of course i am not asking for a rule to this effect, just a plea.

This is why nobody reads the unit comments. We just expect it by now.

Well said. I agree completely. Resource dials make bad figures good, good figures great, and great figures amazing! We all get it.

I couldn't agree more!
It also strikes me as super-odd whenever I see a new post about how to Feat-up a certain character. I don't know about most players, but at my venue, we are NEVER allowed to play Feats anymore, and my friends have even gone so far as to pseudo-ban them during friendly home games.
That being said, if I were a Clix, I would definitely ROCK if you put the IG on me.
I'd be fine if people just refrained from their tired and false disclaimer that "I don't usually advocate putting the belt on just anybody, but in THIS figure's case..."
I agree with the OP. In it's purest form, the Units section feedback is meant to be for the dial itself. Sure, there are ways to mention making it work better or how it would operate with another dial. But there isn't a figure in the game that wouldn't be better with the Gauntlet or Belt.

Glad to see people agree. And i also agree about the feats thing...it's like...no one uses feats guys. I don't have anything against them so much, as it's just they are not legal in modern obv, and even in free play they are just ignored.
Yep, I went on a long rant about this in the Morbious preview thread a few weeks back. Our consensus was that we slightly preferred comments about how good a figure would be with Mole Man because that required actually reading the preview, which pointing out the belt doesn't.
It reminds me of the days of feats when figure X was always awesome if you put Fortitude, Protected and Trick Shot on him.
Pretty much. Resource dials are the "new age" feats, and they're scattered all over the units section comments, much like feats used to be.
Even between resource dials & feats, it was "Crimson Bands" or "X Lantern" objects/ relics.
I neglect the comments for the most part, though I do recall finding a gem now & then about teaming up certain figures or how to best utilize the figure.
