The Blood of Innocents: When an opposing character within Johnny Blaze's line of fire KO's another friendly character, you may remove all action tokens from Johnny Blaze and replace him with AS #046 Ghost Rider on its orange starting line.
Alter Ego: Ghost Rider: Give Johnny Blaze a power action that deals no pushing damage and replace this character with AS #046 Ghost Rider on its orange starting line. This power can't be countered.
Hellfire Shotgun: When Johnny Blaze makes a ranged combat attack against a single character, you may replace his damage value with 4 minus the number of squares to the target and lock it. If the target has two action tokens, the damage from the attack is penetrating damage.
How exactly do you determine line of fire for The Blood of Innocents? What if the character that was KO'd is inbetween Johnny and the attacking opposing character: does that block line of fire for this effect?
We're double-checking this one right now. For the moment, consider this as a temporay solution:
The two effects (Johnny's trait, the removal from the map) are simultaneous events, so the active player could decide which one happens first.
How exactly do I count squares for Hellfire Shotgun?
It is just like counting any other ranged or square distance effect.
J 1 2 3 4
Where J is Johnny Blaze and the numbers are the squares out to his maximum range of 4.
So if he uses the Shotgun on an adjacent character, that is 1 square away. 4 - 1 = 3.
Shooting for a character 3 squares away can be useful; if it has two tokens, you'll deal 1 penetrating damage.
If a character is 4 squares away, you are probably better off using his normal damage value (maybe even with a little Perplex or Enhancement) unless you are pretty sure you can roll a critical hit.
