Which generic keyword do you have the most trouble making a theme team with?
I love building and playing theme teams and it seems like its becoming increasingly harder with the new rules (x number of people per 300 instead of 100). But even with that rule aside, I still have trouble building generic keyword theme teams with some certain keywords.
Armor is near impossible I think. Since its generic, you need 3 per 300 points, so that's 100 points per fig if you split it up evenly. For modern age, there's only 18 figures under 100 points with the armor keyword, and 3 of those are chases! Sure you can play two cheap Iron Man drones, and one high point Iron Man, but that's one of the only options available!
In conclusion, I hate when they make high point characters with generic keywords such as armor or cosmic since they can rarely ever be used correctly for a theme team.
It's so hard to field a Psychic or Mutant team in today's Modern Age it's starting to make me mad.
On that, I got nothing...
The irony is, when I started playing back when Clobberin' Time came out, I frequently used a Marvel mutant force. I'd have X-Men and Brotherhood figures on teams together since I felt it worked with an "us" vs "them" / Days of Future Past vibe.
Basically I was "keyword" themeing before it became an official rule.
Now that its an official rule, I don't use keyword themes, HOWEVER, if the mutants got their keyword back, I would run mutant keyword themes again...
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.

Those keywords have been removed from the game.
Hammer of Thor has 1 charactor with the psychic keyword, Secret Invasion has 2, and Mutations & Monster has a whole bunch. You've got to go all the way back to Arkham Asylum to find a DC set with the Psychic keyword.
Mutations and Monsters is the Last Marvel set with the Mutant Keyword
I'm not including SDCC Exclusive Stan Lee because well..... his trait is silly
Assassin isn't a generic Keyword. However there may not be a lot of Assassins, what they have is extremely strong.
Actually Assassin is a generic keyword. SoG Deathstroke, Lady Shiva, and Daivd Cain all have it as keyword and last I check, Assassins Creed isn't part of the DC universe. So I would say it is a generic keyword.
In the words of Rocket Raccoon:"Ain't no thing like me, 'cept ME!"
