ZOMBIE PLAGUE: When Zuvembie KO's an opposing character with an attack, you may place a ASM #006 Zuvembie in its square and add it to your force.
A friend and I were discussing this and he speculated that if he were to mind control a Zuvembie and KOed one of my figures then that fig were turn into a Zuvembie but be on his force.
I personally think my fig would turn into a Zuvembie but remain on my force since it was my Zuvembie that did it.
Its been answered. (But the search function is down). The controller of the mind-controller would get the Zuvembe, if I'm not mistaken.
Yeah, I looked for the search function so sorry about the duplicate thread.
Here's another question. Would the player with mind control need to have his own zuvembie or would he be able to use one of the zuvembie's player's pieces?

He can ASK, but the Zuvembie player has no obligation to supply one for the mind-controller.

Well said, Zelif. Same goes for any game effect that puts something into play, alter ego, whatnot- if you ain't got it, don't expect it to work unless it's good for them.
Hrmm, this makes me wonder how the new 001a, b, and c spidey's will be causing chaos...
I miss? PC it. You hit? PC it. I hit? I can do better, PC anyways. You miss? I DIDN'T SEE SNAKE EYES, PC IT!

Makes me wonder if I should start bringing along a couple, as I relish using Mind Control; its somewhere on most of my teams!
i actually did that when AE first came out, made someone transform >< wasn't as useful as i thought it was going to be. Zuvembie though, that could get ridiculous quick with even one starting on the board...
But spider-man has some abuse potential if you bring the ones where they would have to take damage to change back (like prodigy's 75 points back to the regular 001 spideys... hahahahaha), they have to go down at least 1 click from where they were, thanks to you, or you control what figure they suddenly have...
Same with beast boy, i suppose, what with a new titan set coming out...
Zuvembie has given us such deliciously evil options.

The problem is you only can have 1 character per 100 points of the build so you would need to choose wisely which ones to actually bring
I'm pretty sure you're allowed up to 3 sideline figs per 100 points of the build (and a max of 12).
God is smarter than we are....

The default is 3 per 100 points and a maximum of 15, but it's also acknowledged that an event may vary as long as it's part of the event description.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Actually, that line was removed from the tournament rules and the number of figures on a sideline is now up to the judges discretion.
Also, extra Zuvembies, or any other figure that can make copies of itself (like Hydra Agents or Madrox), don't need to be listed on your sideline. Only replacement figures, like Alter Egos or figures for Splitting or Merging, need to be listed.
Don't bother loading up your sideline with characters not relevant to your team. From the player's guide:
On Page 6, add the following as a bullet point under the Replacing Characters section: "You may only replace a character if that character began the game as part of your force."
If you mind control a Zuvembie though, and KO a character with it, the new Zuvembie can come from anywhere. As others have said, added characters don't have to be on the sideline.

Minion: Cut Off One Limb: If a friendly character of 40 or more points and with the HYDRA keyword is within 8 squares when this character is KO'd, you may deal one of those characters 1 unavoidable damage. If you do, place a #003 HYDRA Agent in your starting area.
...or Madrox
Quote
The Multiple Man: Whenever Madrox takes damage from an opposing character's attack but is not KO'd, roll a d6. On a roll of 5 or 6, you may place a (GSX) Madrox or (GSX) Jamie Madrox on the same click number on the map adjacent to this character.
There may be another, but I can't think of one offhand.
