So I was thinking that since there is a new Marvel set coming up and ive heard minor underground chatter about maybe a Doop being in this set. I personaly think that there will not be one, but I realy hope there is one and i also want to know if you guys think there will be one or what you think his stats would look like?

The sad thing is you'll probably get one, while the DC sets choke up on the remakes instead of its own unmade characters like Punch & Jewelee, Tellus, Negative Man, & Unknown Soldier.

I don't think a Doop's stat card would have any of his named powers in English, but that gibberish language he speaks.

Hoping for a chase doop in all his Zit popping vortex, backup butt brain, trans dimensional glory.

I thought this was a joke thread against Star Trek in reference to doop (Democratic Order of Planets) from Futurama.

If the do make Doop I hope his card is exactly like that. The only English text should be for how his trait works (I'd he has one) and the names of the power ie toughness, running shot, etc.

thats my thought too! I hope they wouldnt make him too powerful either but enough to battle by himself if need be

Just want to set the record straight before I get lumped into this 'we' thing.

For a couple of month's now, I have been reading the "Make Doop!" comments on here. I also saw him in one of the X-Men comics, saw a podgy little Slimer lookalike and thought "meh".

After seeing this thread pop up requesting a Doop, I finally looked up the character.

May I please be added to the list of those wanting Doop to be made. I just read his Wiki, and I'm not actually sure if all of that stuff happened, or if half of it is made up.

Could someone please just point me in the direction of the comics I need to read to catch Doop in all his glory?

I personally would love to have a Doop click made in the Upcoming Wolverine and the X-Men set :D

To bask in the glory of Doop from the beginning (and to be treated to some of my favorite comics ever), read Pete Milligan and Mike Allred's X-FORCE (later X-STATIX) run. I believe it starts in #116. There are TPBs around (I could loan you mine, although I'm missing the all-important second one...), and a beautiful Omnibus edition of the run has been recently released.
It's like 'NextWave' cool and brilliant a couple years before 'NextWave' came out...
