You're better off reading Guardians of the Galaxy from the Abnett/Lanning run, or the Marvel NOW Avengers runs under Hickman.

I'd advise to stay away from Bendis.

Mark Bagley makes anything look great, and that's generally why he's paired with Bendis, because once you take Bagley away from him, his Marvel stuff looks bad.
