If you haven't gone to the paizo blog yet, do so they are introducing huge minis through encounter packs. You get 3 white dragons in different sizes, medium, large and huge for $39.99. I think this is a great bargain. What do you guys think?

I think they look cool. I don't know that I really need these, being pretty flexible with what figures represent what, but I know many players prefer their figs to look like what they're supposed to be. It's a bit expensive, but I think it is still within the range of reasonable.

I like this approach actually. If they do this with every dragon colour, I would be a happy man. I just wish companies would do the chrome dragons instead of the regular ones. Gotta have `em all, ya know.

If they release three or four a year, I bet they will get to them as well as others. I know some of you have the regular colored dragons, but I don't have but what they have already released. It would be cool maybe to alternate between regular, chrome and some of the others, that way everyone can be happy. Also do packs like dinosaurs, puddings, dire this and dire that, undead, so forth. It would be great.

That is not so different from what Dungeons & Dragons is doing with their Dungeon Command box sets. Ostensibly, these are intended to be sold as one-on-one skirmish games, but I've had success selling them at our store simply as themed box sets of non-blind, pre-painted fantasy miniatures.

Yes, those are cool. I bought 2 of those. I also bought the legendary encounter pre-painted miniatures as well because I made the mistake of not buying enough skeletons from heroes and monsters. I had to buy Dungeon command, some D & D skeletons fom some of the D & D sets as well as the skeletons from the legendary encounters line to fill in my ranks. I now have a very nice undead army.
