What are your thoughts?
============================================
First thoughts from me.....
Quirky historical note......
1993
-the last time the Pens had an winning streak as long as the one they had this year
-the last time the Islanders won a playoff series
- Kevin Stevens runs his mouth and puts the mother of all jinxes on his team
- the #8 Islanders defeat the #1 defending champs Pens
Looking forward to the Blues/Kings series.....should be awesome.
Congrats to the Leafs(grumble, grumble) and the Islanders on being back in the playoffs.
Big thumbs up to the Blue Jackets for taking such big steps forward and just missing out! I was pulling for you guys. Looking forward to seeing you guys more next year when you are over here in the East.
Should be funny trying to see Don Cherry figure out who to pull for in the Leafs/Bruins series.
And an all Canadian matchup with the Habs/Sens.
Oh, playoffs.........how I've missed you.
It is almost upon us! Are you prepared for the Quarmageddon?
Yeah, I'm stoked. Great to see 4 Canadian teams back in the hunt. Too bad it's a guarantee that one goes home in the first round. On the flip side, it also guarantees that at least one also makes it to round 2
I'm laying out my predictions here, feel free to come back and make fun of me after round 1
East
1) Pittsburgh (72pts) 8) NY-Islanders (54pts) ---> Pittsburgh in 5
2) Montreal (63pts) 7) Ottawa (56pts) ----> Habs in 7
3) Washington (57pts) 6) NY-Rangers (56pts) ---> Caps in 6
4) Boston (62pts) 5) Toronto (57pts) ----> Toronto in 7 :speechles
West
1) Chicago (77pts) 8) Minnesota (55pts) ----> Chicago in 4
2) Anaheim (66pts) 7) Detroit (56pts) ---> Detroit in 6
3) Vancouver (59pts) 6) San Jose (57pts) ----> Canucks in 5
4) St Louis (60pts) 5) Los Angeles (59pts) ----> LA in 6
Though I could possibly see the Islanders in 7 over Pittsburgh, and Anaheim taking out Detroit in 5.
Anyway you look at it, I'm just glad we are even getting playoffs this year. And I was really hoping the Blue Jackets would make it over the Wild. The Wild stink, and I think the Blue Jackets actually stood a chance against Chicago (as long as Bobrovsky stood on his head all series long ).
GoCanucksGo!!!!
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
The only thing more surprising than the Leafs making the playoffs is seeing they might have a chance to make it through the first round. If they win it all, I'm a little worried to think about how unstuck the people of Toronto will get.

Not looking to good right now.......
But on to better things
Sens vs Habs drinking game.......no one is standing 5mins into the second

This one is good.
I like chicks that have legs like that.
I knew it would be a real battle for the Kings,
but the Blues have them in real trouble right now.
Here is a bit of a closer look for you
BTW, damn Canucks So close last night. Really? Really? Luongo played like a beast, as did Kesler, and we can't hold SJ off for the last 55 seconds? Arrrggggghhhhhh. I stayed up until 3 AM drinking my sorrows away at that game last night..................
