Just to double check that I ruled this correctly:
A figure with IM: Brown with starburst inside allows it to break walls because on page 1-4 of the Golden Age PG,

Walls are blocking terrain for all game purposes except that (a) they are not considered a square of blocking terrain and (b) they are not included in an area of blocking terrain.
oh, and a followup to this if the answer to the above is yes... what happens if the figure moves diagonally between walls? Which wall segment(s) is/are destroyed?

Yes, walls are treated as blocking terrain.

ABCD
EFGH
A character that destroys blocking when moving that moves from square G to square B would destroy the wall between B and F. The destruction is based on which square the character moves through second, similar to when you target a wall with a ranged attack to destroy it, you draw the line through the wall to the other side and then destroy the wall along that square.

Incorrect.

Thanks very much because that was going to be the next question... going diagonally between blocking and your answer addressed other cases as well.
As for shooting walls through the diagonal though, do you choose? or are both wall segments destroyed?
For example,
1 . .
.|. .
.|. 2
if I shoot from 2 to 1, are both wall segments destroyed?
You can't destroy a wall if you are using that line of fire. To destroy either of the two walls you have to draw the line of fire like this:
. 1 .
.|. .
.|. 2
or this:
. . .
1|. .
.|. 2
And in both of these cases it's pretty clear what segment is destroyed.
The rules say:
A ranged combat attack can
be used to destroy a wall segment but only if a
single line of fire can be drawn to the center of the
square on the other side of the wall segment that
also crosses the other square along the same edge
as the wall segment.
If you draw a line of fire from the diagonal like in your original example, it will not not cross the other square along the same edge as the wall segment; an intersection is not an edge.

Actually, while I personally disagree with the ruling, the official ruling is that because the wall is continuous, you do get to destroy it and choose which one you destroy.

I think they are asking about a similar situation with Targeting: Ignore/Destroy Blocking.

I would say the situation is the same where the Attacker draws Lines of Fire to the Target through an intersection that both would be Destroyed.

Reason being is when you Target a Wall to destroy it, you are told to destroy one section at a time. Where with Improved Targeting: Ignore/Destroy Blocking you are destroying all that LoF are drawn through which would be both sides.

I was asking about regular targeting but this is a good one to know. Thanks.
