I am not going to map out a diagram because this should be easy enough to explain. My character wants to destroy a wall and targets a square directly on the other side of said wall, however his LoF goes through the direct diagonal from his current square to the target square, meaning it crosses the actual wall through an intersection.
Can the ranged attack made by my figure destroy a segment of that wall? Here is the text from the rulebook (2013, but it should be the same as 2012):
DESTROYING WALLS
A close combat attack can be used to destroy a wall segment along the edge of the square the character occupies. A ranged combat attack can be used to destroy a wall segment but only if a single line of fire can be drawn to the center of the square on the other side of the wall segment that also crosses the other square along the same edge as the wall segment. The squares on each side of the wall must be within the attacking character’s range as shown in Figure 11; in this case, the line of fire is not blocked by the chosen wall segment or a character occupying the targeted square. All other requirements for destroying a wall are the same as those for destroying blocking terrain.
I guess the sticking point would be is crossing an intersection considered crossing a square? I tried doing a search because I swear I saw a deputy answer this before but I couldn't find anything. In fact I found a thread from a year ago where I asked the same question (the main discussion of the thread was on another, related, point) and it never got answered .

I've always ruled that you couldn't because you couldn't choose *which* side of the wall you'd bust down since you're not crossing either but both at the same time.
Hope that made sense?

I missed that line from nbperp. Thanks. And that diagram from Vlad was the exact post I was trying to find. Thank you very much. It was ruled correctly in my game. I still lost though.
