This week Steve and Jeremiah get a few questions answered by Wizkids, Talk some Teen Titans and Teams they played. Also some new rule talk and hangups!
I haven't listened to this just yet, and maybe my question will be answered, but any chance that in a future interview you can as WizKids as to their playtesting process, particularly in regard to the new team bases? Team bases (JLA in particular) just seems like an incredibly bad move that doesn't seem like it was playtested.
They groaned, they stirred, they all uprose, Nor spake, nor moved their eyes; It had been strange, even in a dream, To have seen those dead men rise.
Your right about nightmare only having impervious on his top click but invulnerability also pops up on his last two clicks...so that would've been an unpleasant surprise later on in the game for your animal team. By the way that 55 point cheetah is absolutely amazing for her points. I believe she has like 8 clicks? Anyway great podcast again guys!
Is this the place to post questions for you guys to ask WK?
If so, hopefully they can clarify the distribution plan for the KA2 retailer incentive.
The solicitation for the case incentive figure reads:
Quote
Note: Customers who preorder a KA2 HeroClix Gravity Feed case will have the
opportunity to order the promotional Colonel Stars and Stripes duo figure at no
additional cost. This offer is free and will be limited to one Colonel Stars and Stripes
duo figure per KA 2 HeroClix Gravity Feed case purchased, while supplies last.
But it also indicates in the ordering details:
Quote
Case Pack: 60 units per case
Is the idea that the retailer can only obtain these figures by ordering a case? And if so, is it only one copy of the figure, or is it one case (60 figures)?
Or is it that retailers will get a free copy of the figure with their order of a case, but can also order a case (60 units) of the figure?
1 per case sounds like too few for a flat-rarity set with 10 figure, where you'll probably end up with 2 full sets of figures, and 2 more common-only sets. But 60 copies of the figure seems like overkill for the same setup.
Perhaps the answer is more obvious to retailers who have access to the ordering process?
Just started listening guys, nice to have. One thing I heard that kind of bothered me...maybe I misheard:
You played in a Battle Royal with a friend and teamed up together (I assume that means you didn't attack each other), and then called it a "dick move" when one of the other guys cut out early once it was clear he wasn't going to win? Seems like a pretty unsportsmanlike strategy for you and your friend...can't really blame one of the other players for cutting his losses (time) and trying out another one.
Also, it would be cool if you guys listed the entire teams you used when you start talking about specific games you've played in the last week or so.

I agree and understand what you said about the Battle Royals. It was also situational. Meaning this guy was already steaming when he went into the BR and there were other things to the story that I didn't voice, as I didn't want to leave to bad a taste in people's mouths about the match and "his" previous matches. So there is more back story there that I can PM to you if you'd like. We will be sure sure to talk about Battle Royals again this next podcast.
I will try to make a note to mention the actual teams. I was totally unprepared for this podcast. I usually have my teams open on my iPad.
Now that Star Trek into Darkness is in theaters, is there any information about any new Star Trek products (other than Attack Wing) that you can share? Is there going to be Star Trek Tactics 3? Any expansions for Star Trek Expedition or Star Trek Fleet Captains?
Wow I sound like a jerk . To be fair. TAT is great when fielding his Frog of Thunder. The last time I faced it the damage Throg was dealing via his Alligator Army power was penetrating. I was under the impression this was again the case. TAT won the map roll (as he always does against me) so we played on a really wet map. I was not about to wade into what I thought was free damage when I only had one attacker. That was the main reason I was hanging back. On a more neutral map I would have been far more cavalier .

The one thing you never are (well, almost never) is a jerk.
It was a great fast paced game once it got going. We took our time getting started, but once the punches started flying, they flew hard and fast. I certainly would have had you out actioned, so I don't blame you for waiting for your moment. No hard feelings.
