Can Colossus charge towards stealthed Mystique and then carry the item underneath and use it to smash her? Does he need to breakaway first in order to use the item since he came in contact with the opponent?
No, he can't charge in and yank the object out from under her....As soon as he bases with Mystique he has to either attack, or stop moving.......In fact, I don't think he can yank it out from under her at all....I think the only characters that can remove items from under stealthed opposing figures (or any opposing figures), are characters with leap/climb or phasing......
The problem is that you can only pick up an object during a move action. Basing the stealth character automatically ends your move action and thus you lose the opportunity to pick up the object.
As *!Arkangel!* mentions, you need L/C, phasing, hypersonic speed, breakaway, or some other instance that ignores being in B2B with the stealth character.
Collossus could
1) base Mystique
2) roll breakaway, pick up object and hit her w/it (provided he still has charge). If breakaway is unsuccessful, he takes a token and does nothing including picking up the object.
Would take two actions in two turns, as he has to stop his move when coming btb w/ her. He can however make a regular attack w/ charge and then provided he rolls breakaway use the item in a charge for the second turn.
3) if Colossus doesn't have Charge any longer and is BtB with Mystique then he has to roll a Breakaway and if successful he can pick up the object from underneath her. He then has to wait until his next turn (assuming he will be Pushing) to whack her with the object.

Doesn't the new rulings say that a Figure with TK can yank the object from under a stealth figure and proceed to throw that item at the stelth figure due to them no longer being in stealth...

For what it's worth, as far as I know there is still a discussion going on amongst the judges regarding having to breakaway to pick up an object. In order to perform a charge the character must break away (this is said explicitly in the FAQ) however there is also a line in the FAQ that allows a character to perform a move without breaking away.
It explicitly states that a character only has to break away if they are physically moving from one square to another. I know this line was meant for things that "require a move action" but until the judges rule officially on it (and update the FAQ) a case could be made for either situation. It wouldn't help in the case of charge but to just pick up an object it seems you wouldn't have to break away.
I know judges are dismissing what I just said and sticking by the old ruling that you must break away but I still think this is wrong (at least until the FAQ is changed to support their ruling). Just something to keep in mind.

Good point Sniksder......I think you're right.....
Ah, he was talking about the TK ruling. I thought he was replying to me regarding the picking up an object while adjacent issue that I think is still pending. My bad.
Yeah, that ruling regarding TK does say a TKer can do that.

You can only pick up an object if you physically move from one square to another. So, in order to pick it up, you'd have to break, pick up the object as you move out of the square you occupied, and then move back into it... and, with charge, smack them with the object. Or without charge... wait until next turn to push.
