Comic Shenanigans!, Ep. 84: Book of the Month Club
Welcome to the Comic Shenanigans Podcast!
For the eighty-fourth episode, join Adam Chapman (comic reviewer for Comics & Gaming Magazine, cXPulp.com) and his guests Nathan Struk, Amber Struk and Paul Skorez as they sit down for our second Book of the Month episode.
For this new installment, we take a look at Aquaman volume 1: The Trench by Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis; Red She-Hulk volume 1: Hell Hath No Fury by Jeff Parker, Carlo Pagulayan and Wellington Alves; Saga volume 1 by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples.
There's plenty of lively discussion in this episode, you won't want to miss it!
Next episode, Episode 86, will be our new Talkin' Heroclix episode. It'll also be likely the last episode of Talkin' Heroclix where Nate's actually in the studio with us (as opposed to being over Skype, etc.).
Just finished the EP. Good work, as usual. This was an even more dynamic discussion than normal, so congratulations on making me crack up laughing at a lot of the arguments.
I realize it's bad form to force your friends to read something you know they won't like, but part of me hopes you'll do it more often as it does make for good listening. It's along the same vein as how I sometimes force my friends to watch deliberately atrocious movies. Anyway, just wanted to say I liked it, and I can't wait for the next one. Oh, and I finished Saga vol. 1 yesterday. I'm saying it probably could've deserved the nine.

P1nkFr3ud, glad you enjoyed the episode, and that we were able to crack you up a few times. We're still working on finalizing what we'll be talking about the next episode, but it looks like it'll likely be the first arc of Star Wars by Brian Wood, Avengers Arena Volume 1, and Justice League volume 1 by Geoff Johns and Jim Lee.
Should be interesting to see where everyone falls for that one.
My apologies loyal listeners, as the reviews episode for this week continues to be delayed. Hopefully it will go up this evening, followed closely behind by the new episode of Talkin' Heroclix.
Also, we're poised to finally exceed 10,000 downloads, as we're within striking distance (just 22 more downloads to hit the magic number!).
