ALWAYS IN THE BACKGROUND: Pandora can use Stealth. Give Pandora a power action and place her in any square that has an opposing figure within line of fire.
It clearly say that range is not involve. As long as you have line of fire to the opposing fig, you can place her in a square where the opposing fig is. Now the line "within line of fire" is the one that gets me wondering. Is that another way of describing range?
"First, tell yourself what you would become;
and then do what you have to do."

You've got it wrong. Golden rules forbid occupying the same square as another fig. What reads as "Give Pandora a power action and place her in any square that has an opposing figure within line of fire." should be read as "Give Pandora a power action and place her in any square from which you can draw line of fire to an opposing fig."
You are right though, it does not require range. Since it is a "place" you don't need breakaway, etc. As long as you can see the opposing fig any square on the map is legit.

Thanks Lance
Sorry about that DDoom. Honest mistake on my part. I know 2 figs can't occupy the same square
I guess the follow-up would be, the any square part meaning, adjacent square to the opposing fig or any square near the opposing fig?
"First, tell yourself what you would become;
and then do what you have to do."
I'm confused where you're getting the mention of adjacency as well. In no way does the power state anything about adjacency. While you may place her adjacent as long as line of fire is present, you do not have to. You may place her across the map from an opposing figure as long as there is line of fire.
Still, a square can draw a LOF from anywhere on the board. Take TK, there squares must have LOF within 8 squares to the TK'er and the fig/object being TK'd. No where in the game is LoF akin to adjacency. If anything it's the opposite where players too often associated adjaceny as connected to LoF; thus so many "Can I Outwit an adjacent Stealth character" questions on these boards.
Can I place Pandora in LoF of a stealthed character?
No, not if the only opposing character you could draw LOF to from the chosen square was stealthed. The LOF would be blocked (that is what stealth does, after all) and thus you wouldn't have LOF.
