Terra, Bunker, and Omen with 600 point team build ideas!
So I'm going to be in a 600 Point, silver Age tournament this Saturday, I need ideas... I have a base idea using these clixs
TT 035 Terra
TT 049 Bunker
TT 053 Omen
Now I want to know what I should do with the rest of my points. I was think using people with ranged and flying, but I kind of wanted to use the Gen 13 Team Base for fun as well. If there are other ideas you have, tell me. I'm open to anything... I may even use pogs just for fun!
use a red tornado. on an outdoor map he can tk clix over bunker and terra's barriers. i use the same team all the time. i usually throw in starfire and/or black fire as my main attacker.
If you're looking to capitalize on the fact that you can use perma-Barriers from Bunker and Terra to protect Omen while still allowing her to use her best tricks (Mind Control and -2 Perplex) independent of LoF, there's other ways you can continue to try to use this idea:
Put in other guys who don't care about blocking terrain for LoF: HoT Captain America, Red Tornado, folks like that (just be sure to get an outdoor map!) Or those who can draw lines of fire from other sources: GSX Prof X., Oracle, TT Cyborg.
Alternately, with the ability to place permanent terrain features, capitalize on guys who like to use those terrain features in one way or another: CA Stonewall, IH Skaar, FI Kuurth, ASM Terrax are all options.
Another strategy that you could use is that between Bunker's 4 squares of perma-Barrier and Terra's 2, you can essentially seal in an opposing character with a brick of yours. As long as you're indoors and not facing a Phase/Teleporter, the only way out is to break out a wall, then breakaway.

B = Bunker's Barrier, T = Terra's Barrier, 0 = Open, X = your brick, Y = opponent.
Put IH Skaar in there, so he's rocking Impervious, have Omen Mind Control an opponent to move next to him, then build the walls. Thunderdome.
This is not a winning tactic, but upon successfully executing it, you will be able to chant: "Two men enter, one man leaves!" and other Thunderdome-related slogans. That alone should win you Fellowship, at least.
Looks like I'm using Red Tornado since I just recently pulled him. I would like to have a Starfire or Black Fire, otherwise I'm actually going to try and use Deathstroke. What do you think? Alternate figures?
You could throw in Constantine. You aren't going to have theme if you use Omen anyway, so why not take PC away from your opponent and have it yourself?
Gulyadkin Victims List: Spider-Man (ASM 001b), Green Goblin (M10A 004).
Black Panther R (IC) Mjolnir Attempts: 2 for 2! HE IS WORTHY!
I don't really have any suggestions but I am very interested in using omen. Post how it went and how effective she is after you play.
Thanks
Well I can tell you that the tournament didn't go so well. I had to go up against a lot of swarms. Other than that though, using Omen did prove to be effective. Her Mind Control is very nice, especially on early clicks. It find her very useful to turning the enemy against himself, but you have to be able to protect her to keep her going. She's a good piece to build around.
Slate from bioshock could be nice with omen. His barrier could help against swarms as well thanks to the PW.

(Special) We Honor Our Fallen: Slate can use Poison. Each time a friendly character is KO'd, Slate may immediately be placed in a square that character occupied when they were removed from the game.
(Attack) Our Power is a Sacred Honor: Slate can use Barrier. When he does, after actions resolve, he may use Pulse Wave as a free action as if he occupied the same square as one of the placed markers.
