Yeah, Gamora. I have yet to read any Marvel cosmic until this book, so this is probably bigger news to me than it should be. I have really enjoyed this series so far. Can't wait to read on!

It's a great tapestry that's built up everything so far.

I got into Marvel cosmic via X-men, since the "Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar Empire" story arc from Uncanny was followed up in X-Men: Kingbreaker, which led into War of Kings, which led me to finding the beauty of Marvel Cosmic & the DnA (Abnett/Lanning) run of GotG. It was so good it got me into the first volume of Guardians of the Galaxy for the team set 1000 years in the future.

It's because of how Thanos Imperative ended that I will not buy or read the Bendis series. I'd honestly read it if it explained what happened between Thanos Imperative and this series... and why Peter Quill is now blonde.

Yerah but Gamora didn't seem to be impressed with Tony's snap on tool. He seemed either scared or embarressed by what had happened when they had their fun.

But still this issue was pretty good. Nothing wrong with a little light hearted drunken brawl......to me this whole issue was like any opening start of a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Come on who hasn't started a DnD campaign in a bar, classic fantasy RPG at it's fnest.

Eh, Gamora is kinda the cosmic female equivalent of Tony Stark in that respect. If you're bad### enough, she'll probably want to get it on with you at some point.

completely agreed. I've got no love for "teh Bendis". His style of writing doesn't suit me or my love of actual comic continuity.


Again, him and Millar, I feel are just better off writing alt U stuff where they can do as they deem fit. Not murky up 616 stuff.
