Hey there clix fanatics! Want to let you guys in on a dial design contest that we will be holding monthly starting on Monday July 22nd. Each month's contest will consist of 3 rounds, one round coming each week. With the recap and winner announced on the 4th week. Details will be given out on episode 2 of our podcast on Sunday July 21st, along with your first week's assignment. This comment will be updated with the first assignment as soon as it is given and members will post here on this thread.
--Dials will be rated on creativity (50%) and comic accuracy (50%).
--Point accuracy (how good or bad the fig is for its points) will be taken into account also, but will only affect your score if your figure is waaay too bad for its points or waaay too good for its points. If you hit either end of the spectrum then you're docked 10%.
--The member who has the best total score counting all three weeks contests together will be declared the winner.
--Winner will receive 6 two-sided custom poker chips (used for action markers) handmade by me. One side will feature our podcast's logo, the other side will feature any comics logo of your choice.
--I currently have 12 examples, with 12 more coming soon. To see the ones I have made so far check out my albums on my profile. I should currently have 4 chip colors (will only show around the edges of your chips) to choose from: Blue, White, Red, Green.
--These chips are quite nice looking. Printed on cardstock, adhesive applied to each side and then laminated on each side to prevent scratching or rubbing.

What Would Peter Parker Do?: Improved Movement: Ignore Hindering Terrain, Elevated Terrain, and Outdoor Blocking Terrain Spider's Camouflage: Spider-Man can use Stealth. If he has no action tokens, lines of fire can't be drawn to Spider-Man The Tragic Life of a Spider-Man: When a friendly character is KO'd by an opposing character's attack, put an Inspiration Token on Spider-Man's card. Modify Spider-Mans combat values by +1 for every Inspiration token on his card. Venom Blast: Spiderman can use Incapacitate. After actions resolve, roll a d6 for each character hit. On a result of 5-6, that character is given an extra action token or dealt 1 penetrating damage if they are already pushed.
2016 ROC Season: I Sucked. The Master of Swagnetism of Team Vegas Viva La ClixTV
New Spider-Man in Town: Miles Morales can use Improved Movement: ignores hindering terrain, ignores elevated terrain, ignores characters Camouflage: When it's not your turn, lines of fire drawn to Miles Morales are blocked if he is adjacent to a wall or blocking terrain. "I have a kind of venom strike thing...": Miles Morales can use Incapacitate. When he uses it as a close combat action and hits, after actions resolve, you can choose to give a hit character an extra action token or deal it 1 unavoidable damage. Still Getting the Hang of This: Miles Morales can use Toughness. At the beginning of your turn, choose either Combat Reflexes or Super Senses. Miles Morales can use the chosen power until your next turn. Spider-Man No More... But With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility: Miles Morales can't be targeted by opposing characters, can't make attacks, can't be given a second action token and opposing characters automatically breakaway from him. When a friendly character is KO'd or takes damage from an opponent's attack within range and line of fire of Miles Morales, at the beginning of your next turn, deal Miles Morales 1 unavoidable damage and remove any action tokens from him. Miles Morales can't have damage dealt to him through Mastermind and can't heal back to this click by any game effect. This power can't be countered or ignored.
So his damage power represents the recent story arc of the same name where Miles gives up being Spidey for a year, but comes back after realizing the World needs a Spider-Man.
Also gave him the Spider-Man Family keyword, even though he's part of the Marvel Ultimate Universe, to increase his playability. Plus, c'mon, it's Spider-Man.
Nothing Will Stop Me: Improved Movement: Ignore Hindering Terrain, Ignore Characters Mine is the Power to Match Yours: When Bishop is the target of a ranged combat attack, he treats penetrating damage as regular damage. At the beginning of your turn, if Bishop took 3 or more damage from a ranged combat attack last turn, choose one: Bishop deals penetrating damage until the end of your turn; or, modify Bishop's attack by +1 and he can use Willpower until your next turn; or, roll a d6 and on a result of 1-3 heal Bishop 1 click, on a result of 4-6 heal Bishop 2 clicks. This trait can't be ignored. To Police and Patrol Our Own: At the beginning of the game, choose an opposing character. Modify Bishop's attack value by +1 when making an attack against the chosen opposing character. If the chosen character has the X-Men or the Brotherhood keyword or team ability, modify his attack and damage values by +1 instead. Time Hunter: Bishop can use Phasing/Teleport. If he does, and ends this action adjacent to the target of his "To Police and Patrol Our Own" trait, he may be given a close or ranged combat action as a free action. Training a Cross-Dimentional Lifetime for This: Bishop can use Invulnerability and Combat Reflexes.

Do you have to enter both previous weeks to enter Week 3? I just have no real knowledge and/or affinity for the characters in the first couple weeks. Thanks!
Longest-Reigning Drunken HeroClix Champion - anyone got a liver?

Nope, anyone can enter at anytime. Its just that the prize is given for the best average score across all three weeks, so your chances of winning are slim if you don't make an attempt on weeks one and two. I apologize that week 1 and 2 are somewhat limited in options, expect future assignments to have a slightly larger array of submission options.
Keep in mind also this will be an ongoing thing for us. Starting fresh every month, a new winner every month. Thanks.
Energy Absorption: Bishop can choose to ignore damage from any successful ranged combat attack. After doing so, place an energy absorption token on his card. At any time during your turn, Bishop can remove an energy absorption token from his card to either remove an action token or modify his damage value by +1 until the end of that turn. If at any time Bishop has more than 1 token on his card, deal him 2 unavoidable damage, give him an action token and remove all energy absorption tokens from his card. This trait can't be ignored. X.S.E. Training: Bishop can use Combat Reflexes, Toughness and Willpower
Web Swinging: Improved Movement: Ignores Hindering Terrain and Elevated Terrain. Spider Senses: Spider-Man can use Super-Senses. Venom Blast: Spider-Man can use Incapacitate as a free action once per turn, but only to adjacent characters. Arachnid Agility: Spider-Man can use Combat Reflexes and Sidestep.
Energy Absorption and Redirection: When Bishop is the target of a range combat attack, modify his defense by +1. If Bishop was the target of a range combat attack since your last turn, modify Bishop's attack and damage by +1 this turn when making a range combat attack. If Bishop was the target of 3 or more range combat attacks since your last turn, modify his attack and damage values by an additional +1 and Bishop's range combat attacks cause penetrating damage this turn. I Must Prevent This Timeline from Occurring!: Bishop doesn't begin the game on the map. Instead, place him and 5 Timeline tokens on his card. At the beginning of your turn, remove a Timeline token from this card. When 0 Timeline tokens remain, you may place Bishop anywhere on the map. If you control no other friendly figures, place Bishop on the map. Born in a Mutant Concentration Camp: Bishop can use Willpower.
Movement: Hindering, Elevated, Outdoor Blocking Camouflage: When Spider-Man is adjacent to elevated terrain, blocking terrain, or walls and he has less than 2 action tokens LOF cannot be drawn to him Venom Sting: Spider-Man can use Incapacitate, if he uses it as a close combat attack modify his attack by +1 and after actions resolve deal an additional 1 penetrating damage. Prove Myself to Fury: Spider-Man can use Willpower and Super Senses
Major Leaguer: Improved Targeting: Ignore characters, Ignore outdoor blocking terrain Arsenal of Boomerangs: Boomerang begins the game with 7 Boomerang Counters on his card. At the beginning of your turn, you may remove a Boomerang Counter and choose one:
Boomerang can use Energy Explosion;
Boomerang can use Incapacitate, but places two action tokens on hit characters;
Boomerang can use Smoke Cloud, and deals 1 damage to each character occupying a smoke terrain marker after actions resolve;
Boomerang can use Telekinesis as a ranged combat action, but may only target opposing characters;
Boomerang can use Blades/Claws/Fangs, but only after a ranged combat action, instead of a close combat action. Don't Know How To Quit While I'm Ahead: Boomerang can use Running Shot. Once per turn, you may reroll a missed ranged combat action. If that action resulted in a missed attack, you may add a Boomerang Counter to Boomerang's card. Superior Syndicate...I Know There's Only 5 of Us: Boomerang can use Leadership. When he does, if the result succeeds, friendly characters with the Sinister Syndicate keyword modify their attack values by +1. If there are exactly 5 friendly characters on the map with the Sinister Syndicate keyword, modify their damage by +1 also.
