If a character is based can they use charge at a zero move speed in order to pick up an adjacent object with their super strength?
Yes, but you would still need to successfully break away.

Can a super strength character pick up an object without moving?
Thanks
Unless they have another way to hold an object it would need to be through movement.

So if they fail the break away do they lose their charge attack? Basically, can a based character say I'm using charge. Move zero, pick up the object adjacent or under them and still swing at the guy they are based with? You're saying they can but only if they succeed in a break away move otherwise they can't perform the action at all?

You give an action to use Charge. If you are adjacent to an opposing character and cannot ignore characters for movement then before you can move you will need to roll to break away. If you succeed you can snatch up an object in your or an adjacent square and smack that opposing character: you don't actually have to change squares, a movement of 0 is enough. But if the break away roll is a fail then the action ends immediately so you don't get to grab the object or make the attack.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Im guessing when they originally stopped on that object and/or became adjacent to an opposing character, they didnt have SS at the time?
Well, if the object is underneath an opposing character they would stop movement when becoming adjacent (unless they have a way of moving adjacent to characters and keep moving).

Oh nvm I didnt see that it was adjacent. I thought maybe they moved their own piece on to an object and perhaps decided not to pick it up or didnt have SS at that time.
Declare free action for sidestep, successfully break, grab object
Declare move action for phasing/teleport, grab object
Declare move action, successfully break, grab object
Declare move action for leap/climb, successfully break with +2 bonus included, grab object
Declare power action for charge, successfully break, grab object, move 0, swing
Declare power action for hypersonic speed, successfully break with +2 bonus included, grab object, move 0, swing, run like hell
Declare power action for running shot, successfully break, grab object, move at least 2 away, lob object
Declare appropriate action for special power that allows you to move and attack, successfully break if necessary, swing
For all above: If you can use Plasticity, don't forget your bonus to break and the penalty to be broken away from if the character you are breaking away can use it too
And, if you have the IM: ignore characters...
Declare power action for charge, grab object, move 0, swing
Declare power action for hypersonic speed, grab object, move 0, swing, run like hell
Declare power action for running shot, grab object, move at least 2 away, lob object (or just shoot, you don't HAVE to use the object at range, just close)
Declare appropriate action for special power that allows you to move and attack, swing
