With the Utility Belt if I have the Batman cowl in the costume slot and not Batman Ally Team Ability, i now posses the batman ally team ability.

Radar Monitor
Give this character a power action and choose an opposing team ability (even if it is Uncopyable). This character possesses the chosen team ability for the rest of the game.

Batman cowl
This character possesses "Batman Ally Team Ability Symbol". If the character already possesses "Batman Ally Team Ability Symbol" and is adjacent to a wall or square of higher elevated terrain, lines of fire drawn to it are blocked when it is not your turn.

My question is if a character who did not have the Batman Ally Team symbol at the start of the game were to use the radar monitor to copy the Batman team ability, would the Batman Cowl then provide the secondary ability that lines of fire to it is blocked when adjacent to a wall or square of elevated terrain?

The character would not get the cowl's secondary effect. The reason is that, while the Radar Monitor lets the character possess the team ability, the character still does not possess the team symbol.

The Cowl use the batman ally symbol, and the radar only give the TA but not the symbol, i remember some judges saying isnt the same so for me is a no, because you dont posses the symbol
