Wondering if I mind control an opponents character would I be able to use the MC character to travel back though Spirals teleport to attack characters on the other side?
According to Spiral's trait friendly characters can use the gateways and MC says they become friendly to your force so I would say yes you can MC someone then send them through the gateway
Friendly Spiral? Absolutely, for the duration of the action granted by Mind Control
Enemy Spiral? Character that is being Mind Controlled is not friendly for duration of the MC action therefore no
Another question could you use TK with the portal. So say I sent the mc character though the portal pulled the guy over that I wanted. Could I then Use a tk character to pull my MC piece back tough the portal?

You can't TK anyone through a portal.

You can MC spiral to send her back, but then she isnt friendly to you anymore and no one else can go through.

I'm not disputing this but could you provide an explanation. I'm sure this will come up during a game and I would like to be able to back this up. I have found that the guy that runs games where I play tends to read things in a way that are to his benefit rather than the restrictions of the rules.

The portals are adjacent for movement. TK is not movement.
Hopefully you don't need more than that.
(Before it is asked, knock back would not go through a portal for the same reason.)

TK requires LoF, and that all targets be within 8 of each other.
Spiral allows friendly characters to treat selected squares as adjacent for movement purposes.
Nothing in Spiral's power effects LoF or the number of squares between targets.
