I believe this is legal but wanted to double check, since it was ruled not legal at my last tournament.
My character, GG009 Namor, has SUPER STRENGTH and hypersonic speed (well technically it is MOVE AND ATTACK ability but simplifying it slightly since that shouldn’t affect the question)
SUPER STRENGTH When this character moves due to its own action, it may either pick up an object or place an object it is holding. The object must be picked up from or placed in either a square the char acter occupies or an adjacent square. If this power is lost or countered while this char acter is holding an object, immediately place the object in the square this character occupies.
HYPERSONIC SPEED Give this character a power action and move it up to its speed value. It adds 2 to its d6 roll when breaking away and can use IMPROVED MOVEMENT OO. During its move, this character may, as a free action, make one close combat or ranged combat attack with its range value halved for the attack. This character must be in a square where it could legally end its move in order to make the attack.
I active HYPERSONIC SPEED, pick up an object, continue moving all 10 of his movement ending next to an opposing figure and make an attack.
Everything is good up to this point. After the attack is done, I remove the object used, and I say I go back to my moving. I have 0 movement left, but I wanted to pick up another object that is next to my figure.
It was ruled since I can’t move any more I can’t pick up the object, but I don’t see any difference between this and a character moving their full movement and then picking up an object in the last square of their movement. Unless there is a rule against picking up 2 objects in 1 movement(but only ever holding 1 at a time), but even if there is that isn't why it was ruled against.
You could legally pick up the object. In HeroClix, 0 movement is still movement until the movement is fully resolved.
I'll leave it to someone with more time and internet savvy to quote the actual rulebook text.

Where is that rule, i tried to find it before posting but couldn't find it? Unless its from SUPER STRENGTH saying "it may either pick up an object or place an object it is holding"
Is this a Players Guide thing? By it's wording I don't see why it would be restricted to once per action:
SUPER STRENGTH

The object must be picked up from or placed in either a square the char acter occupies or an adjacent square. Right. You pick up an object or you place one. It doesn't say you can do it multiple times.
Here's the rule from the PG:

Unless otherwise noted, game effects only occur once each time they would apply.

another side question does SI016 Hercules with his "GODLIKE STRENGTH: Hercules can use Super Strength. He can carry two objects at the same time if they are both standard objects; he can use only one object per attack." get around only picking up 1 object per action, it says he can carry 2, but doesn't say he overides pick up one object per action, so would he need 2 movements to pickup 2 objects?

Or I'll remember where the documents are on me own hard drive:

It's not an actual rule; otherwise the Hypersonic Speed+Super Strength+Generator/Dumpster combo would never have worked. The Super Strength power only prevents you from grabbing and dropping an object in the same turn.

I saw my answer given in another thread, and I think this figure was also asked about.
I think they (rules deputies) were going to look into it.

Yes, he would need to take 2 turns to pick up an extra object. Not that big a deal since you'll need to get into position anyways.

Turns out we've been playing wrong for a while.

Yes, he can only pick up one object per move action. Even though he can hold 2.

I think I'm going to have to bookmark and highlight these lines in the PG. Arguments will ensue at the venue, otherwise...
