Since edt places a fig off the board, and if its the last enemy fig would that end the game since after actions resolve. the enemy would have no more characters?

Seems like it would end the game, yes.

I'm saying this after reading the EDT text and "Winning The Game" requirements from the Rulebook. Neat stuff.
