Heya all. I read Ultimates number 10 and I have a few questions...such as how will the team survive the nuke? Is Tony going to shield them with something from the armor? Or will Thor use the Mojilnor to funnel the basty away? Or what do you think?

Secondly, it looked like the aliens knocked out Trisikelon's sercurity...now if I took that correctly, then the aliens are in for a big surprise.

I have no idea how the crew going to survive the blast. You're probably thinking in the right direction in that either Thor's going to funnel away the energy, like he does with lightning, or Stark's going to have a nifty new shield generator that protects him, Cap, Thor, Fury, and the other main characters as well as a few random soldiers, but most of the troops get dusted.

Also, right after my girlfriend and I read #10, I turned right around and said, "Wasp is gonna inject Banner with the Hulk serum again." What else is a 2" tall naked chick going to do in that situation? Just the fact they infiltrated the Triskelion shows they're a force to be reckoned with.

Anyone else thinking "Skrulls"?

I'd love to see the hulk, but im not sure. In Ultimate War, the hulk was still incarcerated, and I hear ultimate war occurs after Ultimates 12. Anyone else hear this?

Isn't Magneto's prison beneath the Triskeleon as well?

Yes, Magneto is being held in the sub-levels of the Triskelion.

It actually doesn't matter when Ultimate War occurs because the Hulk/Banner is being held there since Cap and the Wasp laid him out.

In Ultimate War it was shown that when Magneto invaded the Triskelion he knocked the power out in most (if not the entire) complex. As a result the Hulk's "prison" was opened and he got out. He subsequently ate a few of the staff members before they could contain him.

SO-- this means that the Wasp doesn't have to inject him with the Hulk Serum. She just has to let him out.

And that was going to be my deduction of how she saves herself. I forgot Magneto was a prisoner there. So now I am not sure which one Janet will let loose. I guess the lesser of two evils, but which does she consider the lesser?

Magneto is a mutant like her.

The Hulk was laid out by her and probably will hold a grudge.

As for the island survival situation-- Thor teleports the crew near him, which will consist of Fury, Stark, Cap, Hawkeye, Widow and a few soldiers. Or Iron Man has something up his sleeve. But the way the Helicarriers were disintegrated I am going to go with Thor. Especially since a comment was made in the last couple issues about how powerful Mjolnir is. Foreshadowing, anyone?

Oh, yeah. And definitely Skrulls. Just using a different name for them in the Ultimate Universe.

Ultimate war is somewhere around ultimates 12, so magneto isnt in the triskelion yet. I think hulk should break out, and start on the road to controlling his rage. In ultimate war, i dont understand how he broke out. How did he get mad? he wasnt given mutch time and i doubt the nurses where making fun of him when the power was off. I think banner will learn to control better, and breaks down in ult war because hes worried he will "hulk out". That probably made no sense, but at least i understood it.

Wait a minute... assuming Ultimates #10 happens before Ultimate War then Magneto is *not* imprisoned anywhere near Triskeleon. He was in psychic rehab right up until Ultimate War happened. Granted, I have yet to read the Return of the King story arc in Ultimate X-men, but I thought They would need to resolve the alien base storyline before Ultimate War could happen.

Does anyone know of an Ultimate Universe timeline out there?

Oh, and my vote is the Thor teleportation. Sure they lose SHIELD personnel but they don't have to make anything else up (like an Ironman forcefield or the like).

Hmm, remembering back to when the Ultimates were just character designs in an issue of Wizard, I remember seeing the Ultimate Hulk wearing combat boots and camo fatigues. I'm guessing he's not going to be doing much in the series til after issue 12. If I can find my old issues of Wizard I'll get the issue number it appeared in.
