I cant wait to play this guy and the rest of the Imperial Guard. Is the B'nee trait optional? Or do I have to remove B'Nee every time Warstar takes damage?
A pretty decen t brick figure with some range to give it options. Not being able to counter the powers on the piece is excellent, if not comic accurate.
Let's Play "Whoizzit?"
My Avatar is an as-yet-un-clixed character. If you know who it is, be the first respondant to correctly identify this character I'll send you some free rep!
Ok B'Nee would come off and Outwit at eight range when needed or stay attached for Power Cosmic. B'nee's special is giving Warstar a free 7 movement running shot basically, because he would reattach, battle fury would go away and you should probably be within 5 at that point. The indomitable allows you to do all of this in two turns. This is one of the more fun looking mechanics and can't wait to try it out.
Not sure how B'Nee gives running shot since it take a power action from B'Nee to move Warstar, he can't follow. Its Warstar's move action, so 11 movement. Then after that he can charge so this guy has a 17 movement charge basically if you use B'Nee. Later you could move B'Nee to Warstar (after clearing it) and re-attach.
He's a very cleverly designed figure though. Lots of damage reducers and B'Nee gives him either an outwit, or a huge charge, or prevents his powers from being countered.
This guy comes in at click 3 on the 300 point Imperial Shi'ar Team base! an 11 attack, 4 damage charge from up to 11 squares away, outwit from B'Nee. lots of strategic options. After a TK, can reach the other side of the map practically, 4 damage down the whole dial is amazing. Pulsewave with invuln near the end of dial is sweet, too. 7 brutal clicks of life. honestly pal, not much bad to say here. shocked this guy is currently only $10 bucks. Warstar is the best, most playable super rare in WatX!

I really shouldn't have to explain this, but I will. You give Warstar a free action to remove B'nee, B'nee then moves 7 spaces because that is how far he can move. You then get to move Warstar for free. If you move him adjacent to B'nee you can reattach him(See B'nee's special), battle fury would go away and you can shoot. Thus giving the equivalent of a 8(one square past B'nee)movement running shot with a range of 5. Hope this makes more sense to you now.
LeitzOut, no worries man but you are incorrect. B'nee needs to use a power action to give Warstar the free move. B'Nee can't make a move action himself. Its all good, Warstar is still pimp. With the belt he can charge flurry from 20 squares away, breaking the record for alpha strike charge flurry with object for 13 damage belt abuse (with B'Nee's Outwit). And when in a pinch, make a ranged attack or Pulse Wave!

A move action is a power action, HELLO. Your wrong, but it's all good. Hope someone does it on you so you can see. "B'nee can't make a move action himself", Wrong, yes he can. Once detached there is nothing in the wording that prevents B'nee from taking a move action, which is a power action. Unless you can move for free now.

It takes a power action from B'Nee to move Warstar. B'Nee must take a move action to move. B'Nee cannot move both himself and Warstar in the same turn because that would be two non-free actions.

Move Action: An action given to a character that allows it to move up to its speed value in squares an/or make a break away attempt.
Power Action: An action given to a character that allows it to use a power, ability, or feat.
A move action in not a power action. A move action is a move action. A power action is a power action. They are two completely different and separate types of actions. I believe you are confusing a power action with receiving an action token for the move action.
B'nee's ability requires a power action, which then activates B'nee's power to allow Warstar to make a move action as a free action.
There are different types of actions like this specifically to prevent this sort of thing from happening.

@ LeitzOut - This game has non-free actions and free actions. Non-free actions result in an action token being applied to the character. Free actions do not.
As far as individual action types, this game has the following: Double Power Action, Power Action, Close Combat Action, Ranged Combat Action, and Move Action. Any of these actions may result in the character moving such as Charge. But unless a Move Action was specifically given, it is not considered to be a Move Action even if it would result in a move.
They groaned, they stirred, they all uprose, Nor spake, nor moved their eyes; It had been strange, even in a dream, To have seen those dead men rise.
Having played him now, I think he's probably my favorite piece of the set. Unwittable invincible is just so hard to take down and that almost full dial of move and attack with ignores characters just gets him around to the squishies where his full dial 4 damage just wrecks. I only pop b'nee off if I really need that outwit, then pick him right back up with a charge around characters.
