I'm thinking about joining HCO , but i'm not seeing much about it. The WizKids site is just awful for any information. So I thought I would ask the people in the know ; is there a lot of players ? is this something that will be finishing two months after I join ? can my kids enjoy playing it as well ? can it get costly ? any help would be great !

Honestly, I'd say tossing a few bucks at it to get started is fine. But I wouldn't invest much into it as its been limping along for quite some time now.
