What are the rules to using Marvel and DC characters together? They have the same rules pretty much, and DC and Marvel have the same powers. So what are the rules exactly? I figure they cant be played against each other in Legal Tourney games. The Hero clix sites FAQ is all messed up so I cant really see right now.
No special rules. All HeroClix figures are compatable and can be played together; almost all figures can be played in tournaments. (The exceptions being those that say Promo instead of having a collector's number)
However, the majority of tournaments are straight Marvel or straight DC, so always check the format.
Thanks alot!
I thought so, but my stupid friends said I couldn't use any DC characters since they all had Marvel (said it was against the offical rules) There scared of Superman and Batman.
(im not a DC lover, I buy both, as anyone in the trading forum who's traded withy me knows)
In the faq it states "Compatibility
All HeroClix game lines are compatible with all other HeroClix game lines. HeroClix is
a single game system with a single set of rules."
Therfore you can play with any figs you want at home. Check with your local judge before heading to a tourney though. Most of the events around here are DC/Marvel mixed.
I prefer to use marvel with marvel and d.c. with d.c.. Basically Dc characters are more powerfull and more coastly then the marvel pieces. Also certain issues come into place like the super power impervous. Most marvel characters are two weak to damage the character.

Ok dont turn this into a "I think Marvel is cooler because they have cool stuff thats cool" thread. Geeze, be a little more open minded. There both cool in different ways. DC just cant seem to produce original names thats all.
One thing you are not taking into account when you say Marvel has more figures with higher values, Marvel has more figures out, 3 sets (Over 300+ figures) to 1 set of DC (141 figures)... Of course Marvel will have more... When the next set of DC comes out, they still will be behind in figures, but from what I have seen, some of the DC figures will be higher in stats...
