1) Missouri - This band gets a lot of play on KSHE in St. Louis for obvious reasons.

Bad Co. – Now this is how classic rock should be played. Maybe the only vocalist of his time to arguably be called one of the best. Great riff, great feel and reminds me of my early HS days. Simon Kirke does his best John Bonham on here, but with the immense power of the great one. Tasty guitar solo too.
Gary Moore – Say what Mr. Blues rock guitar man? You want a showdown with Satch?
Joe Satriani – Totally different style than Gary Moore and if it weren’t for the fact that I respect Gary Moore as much as I do, he’d ride up one notch. But Gary puts so much emotion into what he does and that’s big for me.
Bananarama – a decent fun pop song that I wouldn’t listen to a second time, because those days are behind me. What days are those? I dunno, it just sounded good to say.
The Rankins – Not a bad song material wise, just not my thing
Emmylou Harris – Sometimes I can take Emmylou and sometimes it’s like nails on a chalkboard when it’s too country. This one is really close to nails, BUT, it’s a bit better than Merle and Missouri,
Missouri – Standard low level classic rock fare. So many bands did it better. Maybe these guys had some good songs somewhere, but this is rigid with a lame guitar solo.
Merle Haggard - I know Haggard is considered to be one of the “outlaw” originators, but I’m not a country fan too much and this is too much like some yahoo wrote it. Sorry to those of you that like this, Just not my taste.

And Monkey Joe also has it right! Honestly Bad Company could be anywhere from 1-4, I think I rated it lower because of familiarity, but it could just as easily have been 1.

Really love some of these selections. Great job, and thanks!!

1- Gary Moore- Rockabilly Baby! Need this live and with a drink in your hand.

2- The Rankins- This feels real!! I don't know the Rankins, but plan to look up more of their music.

3- Missouri- Pleasant surprise. I'm a sucker for Southern Rock, and although I guess this isn't strictly in the genru, still love the vibe. Like riding down the road on an early fall day.

4- Bad Company- Probably my least favorite song on the album, and I still like it. Great album, no duds.

5- Joe Satriani- As great a guitarist as Joe Satriai is (heck i nominated him in Rock Wars), some songs just can't stand as great vehicles for an instrumental performance. They need a voice.

6- Emmylou Harris- Not Emmylou's finest hour.

7- Merle Haggard- Low gear novelty song from a great performer. I guess even icons have their highs and lows.

8- Bananarama- Wow, there are few songs that can make me say "I just wasted 3 and 1/2 minutes on that?".

Gary Moore - Now that's some good rockin'

The Rankins - I'm rankin' them pretty high. I'm sorry I couldn't stop myself.

Emmylou Harris - Refreshingly different

Missouri - good "Classic Southern Rock" vibe going on this one.

Joe Satriani - I acknowledge his guitar playing skills, and I didn't dislike the song. Just isn't something I'd see myself going back to listen to.

Bad Company - Perfectly fine, but nothing that's going to stick with me.

Bananarama - usually I go for 80s pop. It was the soundtrack of my high school years, but this one was just unimpressive.

Merle Haggard - Like Emmylou it was a nice break in style, but
