Not sure whether I'll bother to pick up the villain issues for Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and Solomon Grundy. I am saving money with no Animal Man or Suicide Squad this month.
OK, this wasn't on my list of planned purchases, but I pre-ordered it a while ago and it came in this last week and I doubt I will be blown away more by a comic this year.
I got the big hardcover The Best of Milligan & McCarthy from Dark Horse Comics.
This comic was full of stories by Peter Milligan and Brendan McCarthy from a selection of 1980s-era underground British comics. It includes Paradax (the hero on the cover), Electric Hoax, Rogan Gosh, Freakwave, and Skin. It is punk-rock, sci-fi, comic-loving, literate psychedelia at its very best.
