Continuing a tradition that flyingicarus and I have been carrying on for years now. An ongoing series of games, just trying to use as many characters as possible. We're up to playing 30,000 points, broken up into three games of 10k. Eight figures in play at a time, replacing a KOd figure with a new one, directly in the same spot if possible or in the starting area if blocked. In the past, we've done Good vs Evil and Marvel vs DC. This time around, to shake things up, we'll be playing Marvel against Marvel and DC against DC. No player can use a character more than once. Feats or ATAs may be assigned, one per figure and not more than 4 times per Feat/ATA each 10,000 point game.
We'll be adding some wrinkles. Every 1000 points, we will add a Relic or Special Object. We will also be setting up two "Teleporter" squares apiece. One in our starting area, and one about 1/3 of the way out into the map. Once per turn, a figure adjacent to a teleporter square may teleport to one of the other two nearest teleporters as a Free Action.
That's a busy map. OK though. It's good to do something different. We should probably compare notes on the terrain before we get too far, make sure we're on the same page with it all.
"Marvelous! I will get to keeck zee butt of Nick Fury and 'is SHIELD agents!" Batroc said. "Even eef 'e eez zee Fury of anozzer world!"
"Don't worry, Batroc, our scientists have shown that they are, for all intents and purposes identical to ours," the Scientist Supreme said.
"But the have a MODOK," Aldrich Killian noted.
"And we have a Super-Adaptoid," the Super Adaptoid pointed out. "That evens the field."
"You look out of place," Yelena told Union Jack.
"Surrounded by villainous scientist types, yeah, not really the kind of people I'd normally hang in the pub with, but somebody's got to keep you honest and Captain America asked me to do it. When Captain America asks you to do something, you do it."
"Does it really matter if we win or lose?" the High Evolutionary asked. "Whichever side is victorious, they will have proven themselves the fittest to survive. Evolution will h ave been served."
"Maybe so," Killian said, "but I'd prefer it if it were me that was around to pass on my genes after all this is over."
Red is elevated. Yellow are rooms although I can't tell the entrances, especially on the left side. And the boat, that's nothing in terms of terrain, right?
The boats are nothing, the Ferris Wheel is blocking. I agree the entrances are exits are hard to see on the yellow buildings, but I see the corner at D6 is open on both sides, between F5/G5, HI8/9 and H9/H10 is another open corner. F12/G12. And CD17/18. For the building on the right, I'd say looks mostly open except where the two elevated bits are and P13/14 looks like a wall and the corner in H14
It looks like there are some internal walls in places too, like between CD15/16 the black line looks thicker.
I also need an object. I'll take the Batman Cowl. That'll go F22 And I didn't do my teleporters either.
Don't forget to change Yelena's position in your recap.
Before I start after we reviewed the yellow buildings I realized that one of my teleporters is trapped inside with no real means of being helpful. Do you mind if I change it? Probably to F11 outside the wall on elevated terrain.
