I have mainly two questions about can't use versus can't ignore.

1. If Galactic Guardian's super rare Thanos is on the map, does Slattern come back to life after the first time he is killed? Thanos' power says that other character's can't be healed. Slattern's trait lets him heal the first time he would be Ko'd but the trait states that it cannot be ignored.

2. The new Malekith from the latest Thor Gravity Feed. If he were to, say, hit 350 point Braniac with his "I'll show you impervious" would Braniac stop turning the dial from his white defense power or would he not be able to use his defense power?

I assume that the answer to the first question simultaneously answers the second question and vise versa.

"can't use", ignore, and counter are all different.

Things immune to one aren't automatically immune to another.

Slattern can't be healed.

Brainiac can't use his defense power.

"Ignoring" is a specific term.

In Thanos vs Slattern, you're not ignoring the power. One of the power's abilities is being nullified, but it's not the specific term "ignored."

these gents aren't leading you astray. don't know who Slattern is but everything the said is correct.

keep in mind that Super sense has different timing than imperv so a successful ss roll would prevent Malekith's sp from happening but Malekith does beat imperv and any sp that waits til damage dealt or taken. If an sp works like ss in the sense of turning a hit into a miss than Malekith's sp would not work.
