So this dates back to the release of Wolverine and the X-men. I pulled a team base that wasn't in my high of demand, so next best thing is i go on the realms to trade. I find a trade as usual, 22 itrader rating, pretty good, im still low on my front, send my base out next day, wait for mine to come in. 2 weeks pass, nothing. I send a pm. Response i get is ive been sick sorry, ill get it out this weekend. Couple of more weeks pass, i kind of forget about it, being more patient till my buddy asks me about it. I send another pm, my response is a phone number to call him. I get in verbal communication, says it will be shipped out next day with a phone call verifying tracking number. That was about 3 weeks ago. Still biding my patience, i call again, leave a voice mail, no response, no call back, no text nothing. Been about what, 2 and 1/2 months since WatXm came out? Ive been super patient but now im losing it. Does anyone have any trades with DraxTheDestroyer?

Give Drax credit in providing you with a contact phone number, but 2-1/2 months is WAY too long to wait.

Obviously, a major illness can make it difficult to close a trade, but the dude was last on the 'Realms on 11/10/2013; the VERY least he needs to do is keep in contact with you. He could also engage family or friends to ship for him if he is not ambulatory.

I would engage a Mod for assistance; it may well be time to leave negative feedback. The feedback can be reversed if the trade does end up closing successfully.

WOW. That *IS* a looooooong time to wait. I have traded with Drax before and communicated with him numerous times. As the Phreak says, it is unusual for a Realmser to give out a phone number, so that does inspire confidence, but it seems not much else he is doing is...

Well according to his public profile he was on Realms 2 days ago. Yep way too long...contact a Mod.

I recommend no members attempt any trades with DraxtheDestroyer until further notice.

So shortly after I posted this thread, one of the mods contacted Drax via Facebook. I get a phone call a few days after and talk to Drax. He mentions that he's done with the game, has no more interest in and feels bad for leaving me on the hang. Tells me he wants to ship some goodies along with the base that he owed. Everything sounded great. Bout a month goes by nothing. I just fig, I got burned. He calls me back last sat asking if I got the package he sent. I haven't received anything but me and talk a bit. Says he's sorry, and really appreciates my patience and I will not be disappointed with what he sent me. And today the package came in, and I'll say, I was not disappointed. All in all, Drax is done with the game, a 5 month long wait truly paid off, and I'm a happy camper. I'm glad the man came through.

Negative won't mean much if that was his last trade ever.

I still recommend that negative or neutral to be left in this case. Drax outright stated to me that he would not be fulfilling his end of the deal. He seemed to hold to this thought until he was threatened with mail fraud charges. Even then, you can see it took even more time to complete his end of the arrangement. In the event that he returns to the realms, I would rather this be on his record.

I see where you're coming from. If for whatever reason he comes back, or makes an alt, you at least got his number, so to speak.

Me too......I just stopped in to see what's up. I'm glad he finally got his package though. Yeah I took way to long, and I think negative feedback for me would be fair. It doesn't matter to me either way as I really wasn't intending anything malicious and have no desire to play any longer.

To be honest, I was not expecting for you to ship me what you shipped me. I would leave negative feedback but if I had a choice to wait for what you gave me, I'd do it again. You came through, you manned up, you admitted you messed up. Point being is that you came through (despite the long time) but you made an effort to correct what was wrong and to make sure we were square and then some. Therefore I refuse to leave to leave negative feedback because despite the long wait, for what I traded for, the contents that I received are worth way more that what was originally part of the deal.
