OK so Snowbird here actually turned out pretty damn good. She can choose stealth or willpower as a free action! She can flurry or b/c/fangs an opponent at will! She is extremely hard to hit with super senses, shape change AND stealth! Scratch that. She is damn near impossible to hit. Great powers! She should've had some reducers or choice of such to signify certain northern beast. And where.. .WHERE.....Where is her mystics TA? Seriously... if they shaft shaman the same way I will have to retire. But besides that..this snowbird really pulls her weight and can tear into figures three times her cost while dodging/surviving any retaliation.

Pulled her for a sealed tourney, and she performed very well. SC and SS (combined with stealth through trait) really helped her survive. I had pulled enough Alpha Flight to build a team but found they lacked real damage power. Hit, hit, hit but only for 1 damage a lot of times hurt team... BUT This fig really helped up damage and break that tough armor. Solid for point cost.

There's a lot of fun to be had here. Somewhat themeatically as well she's only going to be useful some of the time. In terms of defence she's got it all and I agree with other comments that she will easily be able to tie up much more expensive pieces for you. Paired up with her Canadian friends she provides a great ace up the sleeve. Personally though I'm going to have to run her and Meggan at least once. Just for fun. Possibly with Human Target and Puma.

Such a disappointing sculpt! So many potential ideas with the animal shifting too. Could have at least modeled the sculpt off the cover image on the card.

I often do custom sculpts in the form of people I know...I've been making a custom sculpt for this one that kind of resembles my sister. We have some Canadian heritage in our family tree, plus the fact that my sister has had the ill-fitting nickname of "Moose" for the past decade *based on a line from one of her favorite Disney movies when she was young* I think this is the perfect character to use for her.

I need an extra one so I can have a usable shapechanger to replace the nearly useless Meggan from the Excalibur team base (because I'll probably never use the team base. but yay for switch clicks so I can make a mod easier!) The characters are so similar and we get this bizzarro Meggan (Snowbird: good dial, crap sculpt. Meggan: good sculpt/crap dial.) for just 2 more points, mystics TA must cost an arm and a leg... Which is basically me saying this is a good piece (Just wish it was the character I was more familiar with)

This figure looks good and playable and all, and is a big improvement over the older one. And, I know they wouldn't waste multiple figures on a lesser known/not as popular character and all. But, I still wish they had gone the Beast Boy route here, and done a figure of here in "human" and bear and wolf and owl forms. I just really like that Morph trait, and they already have BB's bear sculpt done.

I actually expected the designers to go the morph/beast boy route with snowbird. But after playing her several times I actually like her simplified trait. I wasn't forced to purchase 5 animml sculpts of her. ..I just had to pull her one time. She is VERY effective and single handedly changed the outcome of several games for my Alpha flight team. There is ONE thing that always bothered me about her... She's lacking the mystic team ability.

Fielded her tonight in a 500 point all Invincible Ironman game. Alpha Flight team against the Wrecking Crew on the Abandoned Weapon X Facility. Alpha Flight got destroyed and only Snowbird was left. Positioned her at a stairway to the 2nd elevation which prevented the crew from attacking her with more than one fig. She kept rolling 5 or 6 for B/C/Fangs and defeated the entire wrecking crew one by one on her own. Shape change +super senses kept her safe and her trait was flexible enough to give me what I needed most turns. My new favorite Alpha Flight fig. Too bad her team is kinda underwhelming.
