Had this situation in a game on Saturday. Black Panther was grounded and wanted to outwit Flash's HHS,who was exactly 8 squares away on the same line. But there was an object placed about 5 squares on the same line. Did he have LOF for outwit?

Yes, of course he did. Flash however does not have LOF to BP.

yes, items are only considered hindering terrain, so he had LOS an sould have been able to outwit Flashes HSS.

When I said flash does not have LOF I was assuming BP has stealth. The Vet BP does not have stealth so this is not true.

Only Blocking Terrain blocks LOF.

Blocking Terrain consists of 2 things.

1) Thick Black Lines (aka walls)
2) Other figures.

Stealth alters these rules slightly in that stealth makes hindering terrain be treated like blocking but ONLY for the purpose of the stealth figure being Targeted.

When the Stealth figure is targeting hindering is treated as normal terrain unless the targeted figure has stealth.

(Elevation affects things too but elevation isn't at question here).
