Hey everyone! I recently moved from Pennsylvania to Austin, and I'm looking to find a new playing group. I'm near Dragon's Lair, and was thinking of popping in one Friday night to see what it's like, but it'd be nice to know a person or two before I do so. I'm in on N Lamar, and can travel some, but since I'm still so new to the area I'd like to stay fairly local.
Other than that, I'm a laid back player, been playing the game for a little over a year. I have a good grasp of the rules and I don't get bent out of shape about winning/losing, I just like playing and having a good time.
It's been a few years, but I know there are a couple groups down there. Great area. I think Blue Atoll is a member that lives down there. Check with him. Also, Chrisdosmil is in San Antonio (if I remember right), he may know of a group in the area.
It's only an hour drive away from Austin and you have a pretty good chance of going home with at least one (2011) Con LE. It's for charity and not a regular tournament, so I expect people to have fun and not be so cutthroat.

Thanks guys, I dropped Blue Atoll a line hoping to ask some questions about the area.
Chris, I appreciate the invite but I think an hour drive's a little too adventurous for me just yet. I only got into town a little more than a week ago, and I'm still getting the hang of the local driving. (From a small town to a big city, crazy traffic is still intimidating!)
I live in Austin as well, and am just getting into Heroclix.
How welcoming is the Dlair group to non comic heroclix? I only have Halo/DOTA2 figures (and only the dota map, which is sort of terrible to try and learn on).
