I say:
------
aerosmith (the only songs I really enjoyed were this and Sammy Davis')
sammy davis (I love the rat pack sound)
reba (she has such a pretty voice she makes even this generic song sound good)
fleetwood mac (no Stevie Nicks!?! bah...but the guitar was pretty good)
bryan adams (bland)
eagles (blander)
depeche mode (boring)
niki and the dove (blandest)
Depeche Mode – This was played at my wedding and it’s how my wife and I felt about each other. Neither of us wanted to be tied down to the other’s way of thinking, yet wanted to love each other passionately and bring things to the other that were new and different. Yeah, number one for me.
Aerosmith – I love this style of bluesy ballsy rock that the boys started out with. This is the kind of song you want to hear in a club and yeah, it’s a smoky club and the whiskey is flowing and yeah, the hot chick wants you. That’s what I’m talking about.
Sammy Davis Jr. – He had such a powerful voice and if you hadn’t known it before, you will after this song. But if not, go listen to Sammy singing My Funny Valentine – Now that’s some Brat-Packing.
Bryan Adams – never was my cup of tea. But this song isn’t awful and it seems like a good fit for pop radio.
Fleetwood Mac – This isn’t a great song, but it’s a good album cut and it genuinely worked nicely in the context of that format. Bob Welch, like Peter Green was a very underrated guitarist of the time. The song seems to blend their old bluesy style with a jazzy/pop feel.
Reba Mcentire – What is this? Reba’s attempt at a Tom’s Diner kind of moment? She’s got a great voice, but I felt she was overpronunciating some words to have more drawl.
Eagles – Where’s the Dude when I need him.
Niki and the Dove – I like some of the newer bands doing this type of sound, but this song really leaves me wanting. It needed a better chorus to really grab me and at the end I was thinking, where’s the hook?
1) Aerosmith - the first five Aerosmith albums were the bomb. Everything else they've done since just sounds like commercial pap.
2) Fleetwood Mac - always liked Bob Welch era F.M. Always equated him with Gary Wright for some reason.
3. Eagles - I've got Jeff Bridges recent CD. He's got no reason to be trashing the Eagles.
4. Bryan Adams - Not something I'd listen to regularly but decent if it comes on the radio.
5. Sammy Davis - I prefer Dean Martin for my Rat Pack needs but this was okay.
6. Depeche Mode - not for me, sorry.
7. Nikki and the Dove
8. Reba McIntire - actually tried to find the original artist for this one but it wasn't on YT. Might have been better then this.

1) Sammy Davis Jr. - solid performance from Sammy. I love the backing band and the horn arrangements.
2) Aerosmith - Not bad, a fun guitar riff. Is that Stephen Tyler singing? He doesn't really sound like that anymore.
3) Reba - pretty decent song with a strong vocal.
4) Eagles - Definitely what I prefer to hear from the Eagles. The Dude abides? Probably not, but I thought it was alright.
5) Fleetwood Mac - Never was a FM fan, but I liked this one.
6) Bryan Adams - pretty forgetful. I don't even remember what it sounds like, but if it's Bryan Adams, then I have an idea.
7) Depeche Mode - Oh that hair and those teeth are just too much ! The song...not so much.
8) Niki and the Dove - Versus Florence and the Machine??? Just not up my alley at all.
When I surveyed the artists listed, I thought I would really enjoy this. Lots of names I recognized and mostly liked, but many of them seemed to be somewhat underwhelming offerings. Not terrible, but not great.
Reba McIntyre - I don't know a lot of Reba's work, but I tend to like the things I hear. This holds true to that.
Sammy Davis Jr. - Maybe I'm getting old, but I'm finding myself listening to "the Standards" more and more, and rock less and less. This one won't shoot to the top of my list, but certainly enjoyed it well enough.
Fleetwood Mac - Not likely to become one of my favorite FM songs, but a good listen nonetheless.
Aerosmith - Pretty good rocker.
Bryan Adams - A decent 80s anthem. Doesn't knock my socks off though.
Eagles - No problem listening to this, but I don't think I'd go searching it out.
Depeche Mode - A nice enough song, I guess, but very forgettable.
Niki and the Dove - Not particularly good pop. I don't mind a pop song if it's fun, but this was more on the annoying side.

Sorry I was so late due to equipment failure; never happened to me before....... Anyway, I enjoyed listening to these, and appreciate their being presented here!
1- Eagles- Like it quite a bit, driving, smooth, real. Washes the taste of garbage like "Hotel California" right out of your head.
2- Aerosmith- Kicking it, moves me to move and is just a lot of good fun. Enough complexity in the seemingly straight-forward driver to keep your interest throughout.
3- Reba McIntire- Sweet hopeful romance song. I can listen to it.
4- Fleetwood Mac- A bit funkier than expected, even for old Fleetwood Mac. Nice enough.
5- Bryan Adams- I like it fine. Better than average 80s(?) pop song.
6- Sammy Davis Jr.- Not a style of music that I've ever had an interest in hearing, but no doubt of the talent behind it. These songs always seemed dated to me, even when they first came out, but I still enjoy them occassionally.
7- Depeche Mode- OK.
8- Niki and the Dove- Nothing I really like here. Her voice is not very pleasant on this song.
