OK, so can someone give me an expanded explaination of perplex? If you have 2 char w/perplex, and a 3rd that does damage of 2, could the 2 perplexers add 1 clix of damage each so that when the 3rd attacks it does 4 clix damage, etc?
it's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog
I have not read anywhere that you can not stack perplex.
The perplexing figure does need a clear LOS of the figure he/she is perplexing. So long as LOS is established, any number of perplexers can do their thing.
I normally like to play with a Mystique and Con Artist. Can't get enough of that perplex
Mystique is good because she is still a fairly decent attacking figure aswell.

Yes, they could. Perplex can be used to alter any of the values on a character's base: Movement, AV. DV, Damage, and Range (you can't use it to give someone an extra lightning bolt). It is cumulative, so multiple figures with Perplex can add multiple points to a target figure's skills, as in your example above.
Usually it's used to boost damage, but it's also useful for increasing range to hit the enemy who thought he was safely out of range, or increasing AV when you really really need to make this attack work.
So, can you also use perplex to boost EE damage? I thought you could, but a judge at a tourney I was at said because it's not a "printed value" you can't.
No, perplex cannot increase EE. Only a team ability (Shield) or Enhancement can increase the damage given when you use Energy Explosion.
Question: Can you use perplex even after your roll? Let's say you attack someone but miss by one...can you boost the attack value to now make you hit your target? I've seen it before, but I need some more concrete evidence. Thanks!
No, you can't do that, for the same reason you can't Perplex the damage done by EE. Perplex cannot be used mid-action; for it to affect an action, you must use it before that action begins. Once you have rolled, it is too late to declare Perplex.
Regarding EE---I use Perplex to increase my figure's damage from 2 to 3. I then declare that I am using EE, which drops my figure's damage down to 1; a damage-increasing Perplex is wasted.
