If I am using a special power, what rules can it break?

I know which ones it can't break in the PG, but are there any more that have been added since?

A special power can break any rule except for the golden rules.

That is what the book says, but I know there can be more instances that have come up here. Are there any?

You have to be more specific. As mirandir stated, any rule can be broken except for the Golden Rules. What is it you're specifically trying to find out?

It is complicated and to explain but I will try. I am typing it now. Hopefully it will be done soon.

I have a 300 team using the power plant that consists of a GCPD Void, two AMS Zuvumbie, two Mole Man and an ASM Carrion on his 65 point starting line.

On my First turn I will position them this way:
ZVZ
MCM

Assigning Black Light to Void at the beginning of the turn.
I carry both Z's and M's up the full 10 squares I can move with Void's P/T and smoke cloud for hindering and stealth keeping the same formation.
I move C up his full 6 squares so he is still in range and line of fire of one of my M's.

Next turn provided I wasn't alpha struck into oblivion I assign Electro Blast to one of my M's who will be M. And later I want to mind control the Zombie beside him who will be Z

So what we have now is this:
Can M make a ranged attack with his special Mind Control dual targeting both the other M and C ?

Can M make a ranged attack with his special Mind Control dual targeting both Z and C?

I think yes both times, but I need some help.

Provided Mole Man has two targets (and I believe that's where you're going with the Electro Blast Ring), sure.

Is someone telling you otherwise?

Yes.

No. Unless Mole Man has a way of making a ranged attack against adjacent characters, he could not make a ranged attack against the adjacent friendly Zuvembie.

Good catch. I missed that Z was adjacent to Mole Man (it looks like there is a gap between Z and M on my screen).

Place them like this

Then they are not adjacent to any mole men or zuvembie

Okay, I see where you are right now.

You are right because you are the Deputy and the Deputy is right when he makes a statement regarding rules concerning the game.

I have followed procedure and made a request to have it added to The Final Word.

I do hope they address this in the next Rule Book revision.
